Runza Restaurant — Restaurant in Bellevue

First of all, if you're from this area you know that Runza is a staple in the fast food market around here. There's nothing like an original Runza sandwich with frings and the housemade ranch. Our last visit was particularly special because the customer service was impeccable.

Upon entering my family was greeted by a gentleman named, Nick. The man had a smile and the patience of a saint dealing with my indecisive children at the counter. I asked him for a sandwich he knew nothing about "Legend Supreme" and he promptly went to the kitchen to learn about the sandwich and how it was made. This took him maybe 30 seconds. Once he returned to the counter he confirmed the sandwich was available and rang us out... At a discounted rate for having to wait while he inquired about the sandwich. To top it off he brought ice cream to the table when we were just finishing up.

This type of customer service in the food industry is hard to come by, especially in fast food. Nick is the kind of guy every restaurant needs. He greeted everyone with respect, kept the place clean when his counter wasn't busy and checked in with us throughout our short time there. Nick is the man! Order the Runza sandwiches instead of the burger style sandwich. It's tastes 1000 times better and the Runza Mushroom and Swiss is so delicious & one of my favorite comfort foods. On my last visit the whole order was wrong. Seriously, With the Runza sandwiches, I don't know why they bother making a burger style sandwich that can't even compare to the well seasoned Runza sandwich with the hoagie style bread (delicious), but we were given the burgers, they made that right, but my comrades order was still wrong this was in room dining I haven't had any issues with the drive - thru in Bellevue. Runza Restaurant was a good meal. The Swiss and Mushroom Runza was not offensive but it is definitely a regional food. It is not something i will be craving.It was not very visually appealing. If you get a kidsmeal don't forget the free ice-cream cone. The coupon is on the paper bag that the kids meal comes in. For the most part the restaurant was clean. The men's room had an issue though, The handle for the faucet was completely broken off. To use it you had to figure out how it fit on.
