EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK As a native of El Paso, TX the hunt for great Mexican food is constant in the PNW. This place has all the traditional items your tongue can crave. From a plethora of divine lunch items, to the few brunch and dessert items, there is something for all. After a much needed refill of sustenance, the wife and I decided to end our trip from LA with some tacos. After her selection, I saw the menu and went full nuclear on ordering. I'm talking four different kinds of tacos each, plus the astounding fajita veggies, side of rice, and you cannot leave out the churros. Each taco is delicately assembled in a traditional fashion as if your grand-ma-ma was transported to the future by Doc Brown himself. At precisely 88mph these tacos are precisely made to offer a great appearance when you open the bundle of joy transfered to you through their time portal of a window. From there your taste buds undergo a massive electrical overload as mass amounts of epinephrine and serotonin induce your brain into a feed frenzy. Because of this fact, I have no pictures to share yet magically the fond memory of this meal still allows me to capture the essence that was a moment of pure bliss. As you feel your digestive tract expanding and cannot contain all you have ordered... you are forced to ignore your best judgment and shovel in the remaining morsels as your chase the last dose of those two epic hormones again. AND THEN... you forget about your damn churros... where to start!? They are only made and deep fried on the spot in what I can only suspect to be tears of angels, clouds from Olympus, and a leaf from the top of the trees in Nepal. It combines with the soft dough made from the softest sheep's wool, combined with alpaca fur to comfort you through the rest of winter. All topped with a cherry from the finest French orchard that contains the majestically balanced pH from the westward Mediterranean winds. In summation, I'll be dining here again, and again, but taking caution to my...
Read moreI love this place! Their burritos and quesadillas are the best I've had around. I used to travel up to a place in Bellevue but now that I found this I won't be going there anymore. They have a great selection of sauces and actually have one that is spicy enough for me. I love spicy and have had a hard time finding habanero sauce at Mexican restaurants suprisingly but, this place has it and it is hot and flavorful! They also have refried beans which I love to have on my breakfast burritos!!!! I have such a hard time finding this at other places too because they always just carry black beans. Orders come out fast, but not 'fast-food' fast because they make things to order when you order it. The staff here are really helpful and speak great English. They are always willing and able to alter a menu item and their prices are very reasonable. If you're wondering if you should take a chance on this place you should just trust my review and try them out. Mexican food is my thing and I can assure you, this is the best place within a 30 mile range. The only thing you won't find here is tamales which I do...
Read moreI visited Taqueria Los Tetillas on a nice Friday afternoon after the normal lunch hour. There wasn’t really a line and I had called in my order to be picked up. The taqueria truck is between an Arco and a Pizza Hut and there are an ample amount of spaces nearby. They also have also implemented all of the necessary precautions to prevent any spread of COVID-19 with cones marking where to stand and everyone wearing masks. Since I ended up ordering the crazy breakfast burrito, breakfast torta, and several adobada, carnitas, campechano, and pollo tacos. Everything was delicious, I especially enjoyed the breakfast burrito and tortas. The gooey cheese enveloped the flavorful chorizo and eggs in the torta creating a really satisfying sandwich. The breakfast burrito was also really great with the mix of meats, cheese, and the most distinctive part for me being the French fries. It brought me back to San Diego. I recommend Taqueria Los Tetillas wholeheartedly. I am not in the area very often, but when I am will make a point...
