Great people that run this restaurant. I've been going here with friends and family for many years since being a student at Western and love it. The owners and staff have always been friendly, appreciative, and attentive. This is the kind of place that gets better with time and deserves more than one visit to truly appreciate. For example, I came here for the super bowl when the Seahawks lost to the Patriots and the owners brought out shots of tequila "for our sorrows". I also came here with family/friends and my Mom drank too much too quickly (she wasn't aware that the drinks are strong and potent) and didn't make it to the bathroom in time. All was forgiven and while we were embarrassed at the time, the staff continued to make us feel welcome and we've continued to have a great time coming here. We left town for a couple years and returned for an evening and were immediately remembered by the owner. That can't be overstated. The owners care about their customers, which is a true testament to the quality of service we've had over the years. The food is great, mole and sizzling fajita dishes especially, and I always find myself missing this place. Love the salsa too. Give this restaurant at least a try or two if you're looking for a typical traditional Mexican vibe (check out their other locations too) and you'll most likely find the food, service, and staff well...
Read moreService was horrible. My wife ordered a margarita and I ordered a beer as soon as we sat down. Then we eventually ordered food, but the drinks never came. We had asked again once we had our dinner and finally received the drinks half way through our meal. Also, our bill was about $60 but they tried to pull a fast one and charge me nearly $100. It makes me wonder how often they get away with it. They played it off like an innocent mistake but I don’t believe it was, the top copy showed the correct price, the copy I had to sign was a different price, shady. Also, my wife had ordered a fajita type meal and we had to remind the waiter to bring the tortillas twice before she actually got them. Shame on them, if they wanted to make more money they should have brought our drinks because we would have ordered more rounds since we were there for my birthday. Needless to say, we will NOT be back. No amount of free coupons could convince us. The food was decent, nothing better than any other northwest Mexican restaurant chain. I grew up in Arizona and know good Mexican food, also travelled to Mexico frequently. This is not a 4 star restaurant. 1 star for service, 2...
Read moreJust did a Doordash order for them. Clearly stated the name of the customer and said they ordered a “chicken burrito”. The man behind the counter who barely spoke English said “fajita burrito”? And I said “if it’s a chicken fajita, yeah” They proceeded to hand me the order. After hanging the order to the customer, I receive a call on my cell phone saying I took the wrong order. You mean you GAVE me the wrong order. Then they wanted me to drive back and switch the orders. Then they had the AUDACITY to tell me to “check the order next time”. How about you guys teach your employees English so they can communicate with delivery drivers? Or here’s an ideal you check the order before handing it over? Instead of blaming them for your mistakes. Utterly...
