Tacos La Guelaguetza 2 — Restaurant in Bellingham

Tacos La Guelaguetza 2 is closer to where I live, but I recently placed an online order with them; when I got there, I showed that I had placed the order, and they didn't have it in their system. I waited patiently for other people to be serviced and tried to figure out if the problem was on my end, planning to place a new order or work something out. It was my turn, he said "what do you want?" And as soon as I began ("could we please get 8 tacos"), he just said "stop" and walked away, it felt very rude... We decided to leave, and try Tacos La Guelaguetza (there are two in the area, the other is just called Tacos La Guelaguetza).

Man was way nicer, food was way better, everything is just better for some reason. Don't know what the issue is for Tacos La Guelaguetza 2.

P.S. I only speak English, I know the guy I usually see here primarily speaks Spanish so I can chalk part of this up to maybe translation issues or something. The past couple times before the last we had trouble communicating. So even though I'm really disappointed with my last visit I feel it'd be unfair to give a lower score...

I've been here one other time and it was all right, but this time I went some 15-year-old looking kid was sitting at the window staring at his phone, didn't even look at me until I announced myself. I'm standing there with my one and a half-year-old in a stroller next to me trying to order my food, and he tells me that they're out of tortas, he says they're out of queso Taco birria, says it can't do nachos. I could only get a burrito and a quesadilla. I could see the torta buns behind him and the way he said it led me to believe that he was just being rude. I said politely never mind, and walked away. I then went on doordash and ordered everything I wanted for pickup, and was able to get it in 15 minutes. Even the torta and nachos. When the kid handed me the food and realized it was the same person who would tried to order it at the window like 20 minutes ago, he didn't even look me in the face.

Best tacos in the Bellingham area, always consistent and fast service. I would recommend updating your hours online, every time I go there’s a 50/50 chance the truck is open. It’s always disappointing when they are supposedly open and no one is there, not even a note or a sign. Hours says open today (Monday) from 11-7 and no one was there in the middle of the day. Online also says closed on the weekends but sometimes you are open on the weekends? Only reason I complain about this is because I literally love the tacos so much, and it’s heartbreaking when the hours says open and then you are closed (which seems to be the case at least half of the time I stop by, multiple...
