Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Bellingham

Food is pretty good, but the service could use some training. I had just finished giving my order (in store) when the young man (name said Tobias on the receipt) taking my order started helping someone who'd previously ordered. They worked thru a couple questions then he just looked at me, like I was supposed to do something. I asked him and he said "are you ready to pay?" I told him I was if he was ready (because he hadn't clearly conveyed to me that he'd moved from helping the other person to helping me). He said he was ready and I paid. Later when my order was ready, I came up to the counter to get it, but noticed he hadn't gotten my drink. He went about doing other business (thus letting my food get cold), and finally asked me if I needed anything. I said my drink. He had to go back on the order screen to remember what it was. I can't speak for exactly what was or wasn't in his mind, but it seems like doing two orders at the same time may have let to his forgetfulness. Also, as we and our friends got our order, they were in to-go bags. He either didn't ask us if it was here or to go, or he didn't remember that we wanted to eat it there. We had to ask for trays to eat our meal at the establishment. Finally, there were a number of dirty tables and minimal or no business, yet no employee was making any effort to make the establishment clean and inviting for their customers. Some of this could be fixed by training the employees, but management training (perhaps by distirict management or corporate) might be needed as well. The manager on duty didn't seem to notice or care about the dirty tables. Go here only if you're on a road trip and REALLLY jonesing...

They're always out of anything and everything I always seem to want and go there specifically for and then they take forever before they asked me to pull around and park in front of their dining doors I asked for extra ranch as well as ketchup and BBQ sauce and extra napkins please.... They literally got my entire order wrong and then they didn't give me any dipping sauces even though I ordered 2 ten piece chicken nuggets plus one of my kids meals were also chicken nuggets!!! So I would have thought they'd atleast put the sauces that come with the nuggets in the bag, but no of course not I had to ask them again for a second time for extra ranch BBQ sauce and ketchup plus extra napkins after spending close to 80 dollars I still had to go clear across town to the other jack in the box because the whole reason for me even going there was to try their new bisscoff milkshake but after the unnecessary hassle the 1st jack in the box was the one on the other side of town wasn't any better unlike the 1st one they did end up having their milkshake machine up and running the only problem with that was they don't ever mix the flavoring they add to the vanilla ice cream they literally don't ever seem to mix it properly it's very annoying because you would think it'd be required of them to do what they get paid for not just do it but do it right without always having to correct or fix whatever it was they messed up at the point of ordering it is always an undesirable place for me to get fast food unfortunately because they do have some pretty good food on their menu once in a while if only their employees would do what they...

Updated review: Felt a need to update my review as things have gone way downhill since I left one four months ago. Tonight I stopped by after work to get something to eat. I ordered a club chicken salad with an extra chicken breast. I verified on the screen it was correct. At the window I asked for ranch dressing and was shown ranch dipping packets. I explained that I wanted the ranch dressing packet. He said that was the only ranch they carry, which I found odd as I've gotten ranch dressing there before. I said that would do and he said good because the only other thing they have was "this" and he held up a packet of ranch dressing. I said that was what I wanted and he handed me two packets and asked me to pull around front, which I did. He brought the food out and I left. Considering issues I've had lately with their getting the order wrong I should have looked but I didn't. It was a salad, I didn't think they could mess that up. I found out at home I was wrong. They arbitrarily decided I would get a southwestern salad instead of the club I ordered. As the name of the salad is on the lid this seems it was done intentionally. After a few of these kinds of incidents I have to say I'm done going here. For the price being charged and the wait time, usually up front so I'm guessing to make their drive thru time look better because they aren't fast, I feel I should be getting better service.
