Over the last 4 years I have been going to this place. I have had a few good experiences but several bad ones. (I love the chowmien so I keep going back) when my husband and I lived in town we would go every Sunday. We would show up a little after 11:00 ( listed online hours and posted on the door) many of the those times they didn't have food ready although opening time is 11:00. Most recently we went there at 9:06 p.m. Online hours and posted shows closing time to be 9:30. The doors were locked. Bags of garbage stacked inside the door. People still inside eating. Not happy about this I was going through the drive through to obtain a manager's number. To my surprise the drive through was open . Before I order I am welcomed "with we are closing soon and are cooking to order so you can order and i will tell you if we have it" Fairly frustrated with this response but still wanting chowmien I ordered. Response was let me check.......(after a pause and obvious attitude ) yeah I might have enough it will be 10 minutes. At that point I decided not worth it. Am I wrong to think that if they close at 9:30 then they should have food until then. Or if they open at 11:00 then they should have food ready. I am left not know if I should go back or only go mid operating hours to ensure...
Read moreI’ve always been a fan of Panda Express, the food is consistently tasty and tonight was no different! However, our experience this evening was quite unpleasant. We pulled up to the drive thru with about 10 minutes until they closed without knowing but don’t worry, shout out to my girl Keirah K. For letting us know they were closing, no worries. I’ve worked in restaurants for years I know that’s the worst but instead of letting us check it out she read everything they had still because they were closing (taking time and also I think she said they had every item on the menu?) then when we paused trying to figure out what they were out of she asked if we wanted to order tonight.. yeah that’s why we were there, then when we asked for a minute she asked a few more times to let her know if we had any questions, or were we ready, by that point my boyfriend and I were both slightly flustered and ended up just ordering things we normally don’t get but didn’t want to waste any more of her time. We tried to say sorry for being there so close to closing time but were rushed out of the drive thru because there were plenty of other cars behind us. As a customer and a fellow industry worker maybe some training on how not to be passive aggressive and pushy.
Sincerely, Just a girl who loves...
Read moreLet me start by saying I love Panda! I went to the Panda in Bellingham WA. Which is not my usual store. We arrive 45min before close and ordered 1 traditional plate and a family meal. We were immediately told that they were just about to close and may not be able to fulfill our order but they would see what they could do for us. (how generous) we ordered two chow meins instead of 1 chow and 1 rice. A walnut shrimp and a Beijing beef. We were then told sorry were out of beef. Ok so a panda favorite already not available. So we are debating our replacement. The orderer says how about broccoli and beef. To which the entire car replys to him. They're out of beef! To which the server says oh I can get you some broccoli and beef. (So are you out of beef or not!) The chow mein was very bland and the broccoli very mushy. It was very disappointing and cost us $69.00 by the way. (That's the price of disappointing an entire family) At one point I actually said you know it's bad when your packaged fortune cookie is better than your meal. Let me repeat that I love Panda! I understand that it was a large order later in the shift. But! I feel like it was just lazy to not make a large order like ours fresh....
