I got the Pad Thai, as any white person would, and was severely disappointed with what I got. It was like the Pad Thai equivalent of putting ketchup on noodles and calling it spaghetti. The dish was entirely too sweet, with little to none of the intended flavor other than the peanut and chicken. It's like they were trying to appeal to the palate of a two year old, and they should be ashamed to have this dish labeled as "Pad Thai" on their menu. If you are from Thailand, or simply expect something good, don't go here. If you're a 2 year old or maybe some hyper-american who can't handle the slightest bit of flavor, go for it. Anyway. The service was... Okay, it took them a while to get to us while the restaurant only had one other group, and the seat has a giant dent in it, but other than that it was okay. Such a disappointment been going here for years ! I’m a red seal chef and so is my husband. We brought friends and they were chef as well. Pad Thai sweet and half a portion couldn’t believe it ! Calamari was maybe a 1 cup portion maybe 8 pices terrible batter, rice portion was ok all other dishes were like 2 portions kids sizes this was a huge , huge dissapiontment! I might also add the waters came asked for lemon only got two lemons? Then it wasn’t enough food ordered 3 appetizers and 4 dishes off reg menu ! The Thai House is one of the best,most consistent restaurants in the area. It's definitely a working restaurant, busy with eat in customers,take out customers, the phone is always ringing and the staff handles it all with quiet grace and efficiency. The lunch menu has a combo entre it's my favorite. The lunch specials come with a cup of soup,spring roll and main,very nice meal. The regular menu is available plus daily specials, there's always numerous dishes to tempt your palette.
