The Bean Stop - Birchwood — Restaurant in Bellingham

I ordered a Latte and a bagel sandwich. They have three options listed for bagels, bagel w/cream cheese, breakfast bagel w/cream cheese, and a bagel sandwich a the pricing getting bigger with each bagel option.

I’m not sure if it was a mix up or if it is just a sad option for a “bagel sandwich” but what I got was just a lil bagel with a big ol’ glob of cream cheese. I was charged appropriately for what I had ordered, but for $5 I was expecting… much more. I guess I don’t know what I was expecting, but with “bagel with cream cheese” listed at around $2 less, it was the last thing I expected.

Despite that disappointment, the latte was good. They had oat milk available as an option for milk alternative...

I Lo❤️e the FACT that their Coffee is ORGANIC. The Gals n the mornG R Very Very Friendly. (I say mornG bc that is when I'm there. Frequently) The Gals Alwayz know what Yu Drink & hv it Ready 4 Yu when Yu pull Up t the Window. BUT! f they R unSure bc of chgS Yu'v made, they hva little window n the bk & will poke their head twrds Yur direction & ask Yu what Yu R drinkG tday? when there iza line or they will Come out & ask 4 Yur OrdR. I wuld'v givN them 5 stars🌟but sometimes their Coffee is inconsistent n Flav. Don't know Y🤷‍♀️. OthR Wise they R AweSome...I still Frequent this place. My Fav drink iza 16oz or 20oz iced Vanilla Latte....

I live just down the street from here. This place is awesome! Any size double expresso for just 2.50 plus tax. The ladies and gentleman who work here are very friendly, and knowledgeable about their craft. One woman, Ruth, has such an incredible memory that if you go there once, she will remember you the next time and what you drink. At least, that's the way it seems.
