3 Brothers From Italy — Restaurant in Belmar

I have admit that I have been blessed to grace some of the best pizza places in NJ in my 30 years growing up there. Having moved to CA in 1989 I found it IMPOSSIBLE to find any pizza that came close....On a 2017 trip back to NJ after a 30 year absence my cousin took me to Belmar for a day trip and she emerged out of 17th street to Ocean Ave and we soon looked for lunch...My cousin wanted to try this acai-bowl place, but I couldn't keep my eye off the sign saying PIZZA. Eventually I went in and told this nice lady there that I haven't had a slice of great NJ Pizza in 30 years....and my wait was over. She cut a slice as long as the serving tray and I likely ate 1/3 of the entire pie in one slice. It was worth a million dollars, although I think I barely paid $5 and I could not thank this lady enough for making this day the highlight of my Jersey return trip. I had seen these slices walking by the 1st time we came to belmar. We came back to belmar before the girls start school. We spent the day down by 8th Ave and after we drove down to 16th Ave to have a slice from 3 brothers. The cashier was very friendly but the cook I asked him a question and he didn't even acknowledge me. I actually liked the pizza but my husband didn't said the crust was underdone and flavorless. I didn't think so but to each's palate. So to the cook my advice is if you are at the front of the house smile and try to Interact it might boost your stars and maybe even business 😀 this is coming from a former waitress. Other than that I'll come back to see crabby cook for a slice. I do recommend it the pizza...

Has to be the worst pizzas ever! After calling 3 times and no one answered I finally Ordered a meat lovers and one plain cheese pizza spent over $60. The meat lovers had absolutely no sauce on it but was drownded in oil many of the slices had barely any toppings. The plain cheese pizza sure was plain alright. The sauce was gross and the cheese did not even cover the sauce on the majority of the pie. When I called to complain the kid who answered the phone could not give me the name of a manager or when a manager would be on duty.
