Mamalukes Pizza & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Belmar

I had a terrible experience at Mamalukes in Belmar Beach last night. My friends and I went there around 10:20 PM, hoping to enjoy a delicious pizza. Unfortunately, our visit turned out to be a huge disappointment.

We specifically requested an extra-large pizza and emphasized that we wanted a fresh one, not the pizza that had been sitting on the front counter. The staff assured us that it would only take 10 minutes to prepare the pizza, so we decided to take a short walk while we waited.

When we returned at around 10:25 PM, we were shocked to find that the pizza was already ready. However, our excitement quickly turned into frustration when we opened the box and realized that the pizza was cold. We asked the staff if it was indeed fresh, and they insisted that it was, but the appearance and taste clearly indicated otherwise. It seemed like the pizza had been sitting around for a while.

To make matters worse, we inquired about the pizza that had been on display earlier, and they told us it was gone. However, we could tell that they were not being truthful about it.

The experience was not only disappointing but also wasteful, as we had to throw away the cold and unappetizing pizza. I expected better service and quality from Mamalukes, and I am deeply dissatisfied with this visit.

In the future, I hope Mamalukes can improve their customer service and ensure that their food is served fresh and at the right temperature. Until then, I cannot recommend this pizza store based on my...

I was visiting this shore town for the 1st time and had this spot in mind to grab a treat. Since i wasn't that hungry I just got some ice cream which was good. They offer a variety of options from desserts to pizza, burgers, cheese steaks, wraps, salads sandwiches, and more. They offer plenty of seating. The staff its young but helpful. I don’t appreciate that you guys told my nieces the soft serve machine wasn’t working AFTER they paid. You like taking advantage of a bunch of young girls for their money? Should’ve given them that option before they paid. The hard ice cream wasn’t even good. $37 for 4 small ice creams. I don’t even get robbed this bad when I’m in NYC. My nieces friends went as well, got all their orders wrong and everything had to be done again cause they refused to leave until you guys did the order again....
