I think about the wonderful memories of that euphoric day when I first stepped into Djais. As I sit here reminiscing about that beautiful day at the beach, the vivid images of this experience come flooding back to me. The moment I entered Djais, a burst of refreshing air conditioning greeted you, offering respite from the warmth of the sun-kissed day outside. It was as if the cool breeze washed over you, energizing your senses and preparing you for the adventure that awaited within. That initial blast of cold air, a pleasant contrast to the sun's warmth, was like a welcome embrace from the bustling establishment. As you walked deeper into Djais, the captivating ambiance enveloped you. The vibrant sounds of music filled the air, their beats pulsating with an irresistible energy that ignited your soul. Each note seemed to synchronize perfectly with your every step, propelling you forward with an infectious rhythm. It was a symphony of melodies that encapsulated the carefree spirit of the beach and amplified your excitement to new heights. But it wasn't just the music that made the atmosphere so captivating; it was the people who were there, too. The girls, radiant and free-spirited, moved with an effortless grace that mirrored the ocean's waves. Their infectious laughter mingled with the music, creating an atmosphere of uninhibited joy and camaraderie. In that moment, you felt like a part of something greaterāa community of individuals reveling in the freedom that the beach and Djais had to offer. And of course, let's not forget the drinks. They were nothing short of perfection. The bartenders skillfully crafted libations that blended flavors and spirits, creating masterpieces in each glass. Whether it was a refreshing cocktail or a perfectly poured pint of your favorite beer, the drinks at Djais were a testament to the artistry of mixology. With each sip, you could taste the craftsmanship and dedication that went into their creation, further enhancing the overall experience. As I pen this note, I can't help but feel a tinge of nostalgia for that unforgettable day when I first stepped foot into Djais. It was a moment of pure bliss, where time seemed to stand still, and the worries of the world faded away. The combination of the cool air, infectious music, vibrant crowd, and impeccable drinks created a symphony of sensations that etched itself...

It will remind you of Sardinia!" Un bacione! She's always thinking of me. When I arrive in America, it's amore at first sight. Statue of Liberty. Wow! Grand Canyon. Bazinga! Mount Rushmore. Oo la la!! At last I head to the Belmar. I bring my swimming trunks and my lucky hat and I go in taxi. The taxi cab driver say to me, "Where you wanna go?" I say, "The Belmar beach." He say, "Where you want me drop you off?" I say, "Tesoro! I am Guido, you take me wherever you think Guido like to go." So the taxi cab man drives down the beach and drops me off at D'Jais. "There's plenty of Guidos in there, buddy." I hug my new amico and walk into the bar. Mama mia!!! The first thing I notice is everyone is very orange, like my mama's veal parmigiana. They must be hiding in here from the sun. I say to a nice orange lady, "Ciao amore, do you need some lotion?" She sneer at me and she say "F* off creep, I'm trying to drink Stoli!" Owwy wowwy! I say to the orange lady "Mi perdoni -- I only wanted to help!" Next her orange boyfriend walk up to me and say "What's the problem, bro?" This guy is big like a balloon animal at carnivale! He musta been having a bad reaction to the sun...his hair was so wet, he wearing the sunglasses in the dark, his muscles so infimiatta you can't even see his neck! Mio fratello is doctor, I gotta tell him about this when I get home. I say to the swollen orange man, "Gattino! The taxi man say this place is full of Guidos like me! You must be a Guido too!" Ba-BOOM, he punch me right in the naso, I fall to the floor...he grunts like cinghiale and screams "Wasted, B**!," Next he pump his fist in the air, and he drink a shot of the Bacardi. Mio dio! The rest of the night the balloon animal men and the orange woman, they dance on each other like they a herd of mufloni in the colosseo. Simpatico! When I leave, they wave at me with the middle finger -- we don't have this in Italy, but I think it means we friends now. I never forget in my whole life the memories I had at D'Jais! From one Guido to the next,

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you like crowds of selfish young adults with rich parents and repetitive pop music, then you're in the right place here at D'jais. They have the audacity to charge admission between 10pm and 1am, as if the DJ is worth paying to see like a larger musical act. Every DJ they hire spins the same set list of roughly only 40 pop songs every single night--it's never different regardless of which night you go.
The management here is driven by their greed, and they don't like you if you're not an alcoholic. Just the fact that they encourage excessive drinking in individuals who are still developing goes to show they don't care about you or your family. If you want to get your drink on as a young person, the smart thing to do is buy a keg, have a rager at your house, and charge everyone $5 at your doorstep.
Plus, the food here is an absolute joke. Everything from the pizza to the sandwiches is disgusting. Everything on the menu is overpriced and nothing is edible.
You can also tell that they are less considerate of the people who they hire for the day shift and they don't get paid enough just based on the service you get. Meanwhile, the bartenders at night get treated like gold. You can see the owner purposefully puts the most attractive bartenders in the front of house and not the most skilled, which adds to the case that the staff here are discriminatory.
I only go here to see if I can meet a hot young thing to crash at their place for the night instead of go back home, but I should just walk through the mall or the grocery store during normal business hours instead or find a glucose...
