OMG so good! I went searching for authentic Jamaican food in Charlotte, and found this gem by searching other reviews on social media. Everything I tasted was absolutely delicious and authentic! I had the Jerk chicken, Curry Chicken, Cabbage, rice and peas, and Mac and cheese! Pictures donā€™t do it justice. If youā€™ve ever lived in or been to Jamaica this place will take you back to happy times! The chef/owner and the young lady that took my order were so friendly and welcoming the whole vibe of this food truck truly embodies one love šŸ‡ÆšŸ‡² Iā€™m an instant fan and will be back!

Not sure why this food truck doesnā€™t have 5ā­ļøā€™s. The food was delicious, the truck is clean & the owner is very personable. I will definitely return to taste other items & add photos. In my opinion, an EASY 10/10. I had the Oxtails which came with rice & peas, cabbage & plantains. I also purchased a side of Mac & Cheese. The Mac & cheese was so damn perfect. He also makes fresh juices which were tasty as well. This is the best food Iā€™ve had in NC & Iā€™m half Jamaican/half Puerto Rican from NYC. Not to step on anyone elseā€™s toes, but Island Cuisine & other Jamaican restaurants just donā€™t do it for me. His food is much more flavorful & authentic. Itā€™s definitely worth...

I had an amazing experience at Don's Jamaican Kitchen, and I have to give a special shoutout to Nique for providing some of the best customer service Iā€™ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, Nique was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive.
