Was super excited to visit because it was new, and the Shake Shack experience I had in Vegas was spectacular. I was horribly disappointed. Since it was a little crowded today with so many people waiting for food, I decided to order for pickup through the app. Waited about 20 minutes for my food and when I took it out of my bag(grabbed as soon as it was put out since I was in the store), the bun was COLD to the touch. COLD. Cheese unmelted and COLD (like a piece brought out from the fridge and just placed on the bun at the last moment). I briefly watched the workers fry the bag of frozen fries from my seat, yet somehow my burgers were COLD. The size of the burger was half of the size in the picture, whatever fried in the BBQ bun was old, and chicken was a little overcooked. Wa sso disappointed i couldn't even take a picture. Both large ketchup dispensers were unfilled, and even though I checked the ketchup and utensils box in the app, we received none of it. They would have to double or triple their efforts for me to ever recommend this location to someone. When i immediatelt went back up to...notfy them if my cold bu , the workers just handed me a...random bun fro. The back? At least that one was warm, but now it was also unsauced. Sad :(. There's plenty of fast food down the street for much cheaper and, frankly, at least microwaved and hot from the get-go...
Read moreMy first time in a shake shack. First of all, the chocolate shake was delicious. The burger and fries on the other hand left much to be desired for the price. The burger was mediocre, and the fries tasted like they sat in the fridge overnight. You know, that leftover potato taste?
The interior is your typical bland, uninspiring postmodern burger joint with depersonalized computer terminal ordering and promoted tipping for no full service dining.
The limited service was quick and cheerful though. A happy smiling young lady carried the tray of food to my table and we exchanged pleasantries.
The place is devoid of culture and represents everything that's gone wrong with eating out in America. They already were the new Cracker Barrel. Way...
Read more⸻ We visited Shake Shack in Charlotte and really enjoyed the experience. Ordering was simple and modern, you place your order at a kiosk, get a table number, and then head to your seat while the food is brought out. My friend and I ordered chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, strawberry lemonade, and a classic Coke. Everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The chicken sandwiches were crispy and juicy, the fries were golden and perfectly salted, and the strawberry lemonade was refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The casual setup made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal together. Overall, Shake Shack delivered great food, a smooth ordering process, and a fun...
