The Banana Bar — Restaurant in Belmont

Worst desert I've had in a long time. The soft serve has absolutely no flavor. They don't offer hot fudge so the chocolate topping hardens into basically a concrete texture that's impossible to eat with the flimsy spoon. The whip cream must be super cheap because it dissolved right away. We paid over $16 for 2 cups. I can understand how kids would be amused here but we're definitely not going back. We could have had much better at McDonald's.

Overall, the dipped banana and ice cream were good, but nothing that would have me running back for more regularly. The banana was a good ripeness prior to freezing and not hard as a rock frozen, the chocolate was where I felt it missed the mark. I'm assuming a lower quality chocolate was used, but it just didn't have any chocolate flavor as you let it melt in your mouth. The toasted coconut topping was the best part. My son liked the ice cream, although in my opinion a little skimpy on the portion for $5 + 1.50 for a topping. Great place to come in with the family! Came all the way from Puerto Rico and found The Banana Bar and what a blessing! We were at the park in a hot day and got at the banana bar a frozen banana (chocolate dipped with sprinkles) was really good and the banana cream soda! ITS A MUST TRY!!! Its definitely delicious and refreshing!

By the time we got back to the car i 100% had to go back in and get another banana cream soda and left with one cold for the car ride and the 4 pack! 🥲❤️
