The service was absolutely wonderful, however, the food was overall very bland. The chips and salsa (usually my family would be prone to grab and consume, teasing and eating) were not consumed by all. The salsa was too light in flavor, the chips unsalted and the grease was bordering on bitter in flavor...like old oil that had been saved too long past its prime. The children enjoyed their meals, of basic non-Hispanic fare, however both adults are (even 10 hrs later) regretting the decision to try the food. The adult beverage choice had so little alcohol in it that it was like paying for over-priced fruit juice. I was very disappointed in also fighting with a typical fly and an annoying fruit fly through the entire meal. (I know it happens, as flies do tend to fly in through open doors, but it did not help the overall experience. With the down-pour of rain, it is hard to fathom where the flies would have come into the establishment, which was also something that I thought about as we finished our meals.) me and my friends came in for dinner and it seemed that the 2 gals there were running the whole restaurant just them two. the first thing was we sat at the tables by the bar and it was incredibly dark when we came in. we sat there for about 5 mins or so and then they turned the lights on in the front. the service was very slow and not consistent or attentive at all. the lady did not get our drink orders correct because she didn’t write them down for some reason. we were very patient with both the ladies while dining in but what was worse for me was that after all the waiting the food simply was not tasty. it just wasn’t good. i’d like to assume someone may have called off today because it was really one of the worst restaurant experiences i have ever had. i was really hoping the food would be worth the wait but it absolutely was not. the price of the bill was a joke compared to the service and food we got. i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expect for a place to...

Went in as a quick anniversary dinner with my husband and got the chicken chimichanga. The chicken was a little pink and I didn’t notice until I was halfway done eating because I was talking and enjoying my husbands company. Thats when he pointed it out to me and told me to stop eating it. (For extra detail, im 8 months pregnant) We asked a waitress what she thought and she said she was unsure and after asking if I wanted to change it to beef, before walked away.

I decided to leave it unfinished and we left shortly after. Now I’m sick to my stomach and about to have to call my doctor for advice as this could potentially hurt our baby. I just wish there was a little more professionalism with handling the situation. The tone of the waitress seemed sincere but we wish there was some action taken in asking the chef if it was normal.

Also, salsa wasn’t even salsa. It was red and green enchilada sauce. Not sure if thats common but just in case if anyone was wanting actual...
