Culver’s – Where Diets Go to Die (Happily)
I walked into Culver’s with the noble intention of “just getting a small snack.” Fast forward 20 minutes, and I’m sitting in my car with a ButterBurger in one hand, cheese curds in the other, and a frozen custard staring at me like it just caught me cheating on my New Year's resolution. I regret nothing.
Let’s talk about the cheese curds—these golden nuggets of joy are what dreams are made of. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and hot enough to make me rethink all my life choices for a solid five seconds before inhaling the rest. And don’t even get me started on the ButterBurger—it’s like someone whispered sweet nothings to the beef before grilling it to perfection.
The service? Lightning fast. I swear they must have a team of burger ninjas in the kitchen because my order was ready before I even finished pretending I was going to order a side salad.
The only downside? The sheer willpower it takes not to order everything on the menu. Also, I may have shed a single tear of joy while eating my custard, but that’s neither here nor there.
Final verdict: If you haven’t been to Culver’s yet, reconsider your life choices. 11/10, would risk lactose...
Read moreNever again!! 5 stars down to one!! This looks like a child-sized portion for the adult portion for $2.99!! The size of a golf ball!! What's the kid's one look like now, the size of a ping pong ball or melon ball?? The two scoops is like the single used to be as well!! I guess corporate told them they were 'over portioning' their scoops, as if they don't give you a generous amount, people will just accept that and keep buying the smaller amount so the company makes more money!? Wrong! That's not how it works! Either people feel like they are getting their money's worth, or they don't come at all, which will be the case for us!! We've been coming here since it opened, close to 20 years ago, but that's it, never again!! Thanks, you saved me a lot of money you corporate greedy geniuses!! And no, it's not because it's the local restaurant's fault for spoiling me and making me come to expect a larger portion than is allowed, what I've come to expect is a VALUE and at least what other places offer. Next time we'll buy a tub of ice cream and enjoy it at the park, and I encourage others to do...
Read moreSo I've been coming here for lunch around 12:15 almost once a week for the last year or so. They're always friendly and relatively quick for me as I only get one meal. Their burgers are almost always fresh and juicy! In the case of the picture almost too juicy as it soaked through the packaging! (this has never happened before) But I can't complain about that as it was great! I pretty consistently get my food quickly, though I can't speak for large orders. And the lunchtime staff is always friendly with a certain lady even remembering I like 3 ketchups!
I have run into the odd issue like a burger that doesn't seem as good as usual. These are the exception not the rule. The only meal breaking experience was a year or two ago when I got the incorrect cheeseburger. I ordered a double deluxe and got a basic cheeseburger. I called them cus I didn't have time to go back and they hooked me up with some free stuff to make up for it. I don't remember exactly what but I remember I was happy with how they handled it.
Tldr: great food, friendly staff, quick service....
