Erbert and Gerbert's — Restaurant in Bemidji

Food is great. Visiting Bemidji for a week and this is our second visit. This would get five stars if it wasn't for staff problems. One staff member spent her time texting and the other took our orders and made the sandwiches. Our greeting consisted of the young man behind the register saying "What do you want?" One of our sandwiches was mislabeled - thankfully the sandwiches were made correctly. Part of our order consisted of soup instead of chips and he had to be reminded about the soup. Right in front of us were two young girls that walked in and just sat at a booth. This probably put the young man's mind somewhere else. As it turns out, one of he girls is apparently his girlfriend. I make that assumption because after making our sandwiches he approached her table with a smile, a "how are you doing?, and sat with his arm around her. Worst customer service ever. I will NEVER eat here again. After they messed up 2 of the last 3 sandwiches (I only called about 1 mess up) I called to let them know they messed up my sandwich. On the call they took half my order and the employee on the phone was clearly frustrated, then just hung up on me. so I called back again and the same employee told me that they weren't going to send a new one. I asked them why, they said I was probably trying to get free food. I understand this is a possibility but you DO NOT accuse a customer of that without knowing. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALWAYS NUMBER ONE!!! I did get refunded after I tore the manager a new you-know-what. But I will never ever ever bring my business here again just based off that snide...

Service has slowly dwindled over the years. The last few times we have been in has been terrible. We just went there tonight and I got a bowl of chicken wild rice soup which has literally nothing in it. Just broth. And the last time we were in store some kid served us and was so tight in personality I thought he was upset we came in. He talked so soft that we could barley hear him. I didn't see him hand me my cup so we walked down the line and he sat there and tapping the cup on the counter until I noticed. Not good..not good at all. We will not...
