I give up... I have always loved Subway, but this one is killing it for me. I've been here at least three times when they have told me they were all out of bread except for white and wheat. Today I was there and ordered my sandwich from the drive thru. The gal asked me twice what kind of cheese I wanted. When I got to the window I waited for a solid 5 minutes after she put my sandwich up. When she finally came back to the window, she asked what i had because she couldnt remember, when i told her she mentioned the wrong cheese, so I corrected her. She had, in fact, made my sandwich wrong and said she would make a new one... I waited another 10 minutes, I was seriously watching the clock by now as I was on my lunch break. At the 10 minute mark, another gal came and asked what I wanted because she was going to make it quickly. There were now 4 cars behind me in the drive thru!! So they were still taking orders and not making mine! When I finally got it back to the office, I opened it up (having little faith it would be right) and it is one sad looking sub! Very few toppings, no dressings, all together pretty pitiful. This was supposed to be a chicken, bacon, ranch melt... chicken, bacon, RANCH! There's no ranch, virtually no spinach that I ordered, 2 1/2 slices of tomato on a footlong, and completely missing 2 other veggies that I ordered! Read moreI have recently visited two Subway restaurants in Bemidji, mn. First was Store# 19018 (sometime in June 2018). Besides the fact that the Men’s restroom was out of soap, that restaurant’s service was so slow that this last Saturday, July 14, we decided, instead, to visit Bemidji’s other Subway, Store# 6912. I could go on about how painfully slow the staff was there as well but I have to assume you’ve heard it already – if not, simply check the Google and online reviews, they echo my frustrations perfectly. I would, however, like to convey our experience with your staff concerning our order. At the end of the line when it was time to add spices we asked for pepper only – extra. The pepper shaker must have been partially plugged because little came out. We are loyal subway goers and have always recommended removing the lid on the pepper as we like EXTRA pepper. Never been a problem before. It was here apparently. While we politely asked the employee to remove the lid a second employee at the other end of the counter said “Do not literally remove the lid.” After some more coaxing the lid was finally removed. At that time the second employee from the other side of the counter came over, grabbed the pepper and gingerly garnished the sandwich lightly with pepper. We urged her to add a bit more when she barked out that “this costs money, you know!” I said “The pepper?” And she replied “Yes… most things do.” We relented...

I have heavily praised to management when they have an employee that does a great job. As I often do at any place I see good workers... I have only twice had a significant reason to formally complain... and now is one of them... failure to meet satisfaction of a food order is only a small part... those things happen... but calling to talk about it.... well....
I called to discuss the order we doordashed. First the man denied ever making the sandwich order, but when he asked on the specific reasons the order want satisfactory I could tell it was defensive... He flipped out insisting I was lying about how it was unsatisfactory even Swearing at me. When I insisted(calmly) that he calm down even asked that he to act like a man, (i deal with children all day) he told me he was more man then I could handle...I let aditude slide and we proceeded to try and discuss the situation ,but he couldn't hear anything about it without getting horribly defensive, yelling, and swearing at me... he kept yelling that the toaster was broken, I kept insisting that he calm down and when I asked him his name he hung up on me... I have worked in customer service, I have never and would never speak to anyone like that... and I get that post covid the world is dealing with masses of short staffing issues... but this does not in any way excuse this kind...
