Prepare to be inspired by the enchanting Flights Wine Bar! From the moment you step inside, you are transported to a realm of culinary excellence and artistic expression. The warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The staff at Flights Wine Bar are not just servers, but passionate guides on a gastronomic journey. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for wine are contagious, and they are always ready to recommend the perfect pairing for your meal. Their genuine love for what they do shines through in every interaction, making you feel like a cherished guest rather than just a customer.

And the food… ah, the food! Each dish is a display of culinary artistry, meticulously crafted with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. From the first bite to the last, you will be taken on a whirlwind of taste sensations. The charcuterie board is a work of art, with an array of carefully selected cheeses, cured meats, and accoutrements that delight the senses. The plates showcase the finest local ingredients, elevating familiar flavors to new heights. On the day of this visit, we had warm olives, gazpacho and the house potato chips to start, as well as fried chicken (every Thursday) and mac & cheese, all of which were divine.

But what truly sets Flights Wine Bar apart is their commitment to creativity and innovation. Their flight options allow you to explore a multitude of wines, expanding your palate and deepening your appreciation for the intricate world of winemaking. Each flight is thoughtfully curated, showcasing a range of wines that will leave you inspired and eager to learn more.

Flights Wine Bar is not just a place to eat and drink; it is an experience that nourishes the soul. It is a reminder that life is meant to be savored, and that the pursuit of culinary excellence is an art form in itself. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or simply someone who appreciates good food and great hospitality, this place will leave you inspired and...

After making a reservation for date night, my partner and I were excited for fried chicken and Champagne night at flights.

My first surprise, the only way to get the bucket of chicken and champagne is to order it to go (which I felt was odd on fried chicken and champagne night). Instead, you can order fried chicken (2 pieces) and a glass of champagne separately, but there is no fried chicken and champagne combo. Again, how strange on fried chicken and champagne night, Thursdays.

Now to the champagne, you can order a glass of champagne for regular price, 35 usd or the entire bottle for 70 something usd, but this is a 39 usd bottle of champagne, so to emphasize no chicken and champagne deal to be had here.

We were very disappointed with this entire affair, and to be honest, I would say there is no such thing as champagne and chicken night at flights currently to eat and drink inside. Flights can remedy this easily by offering a set menu with any discount they choose to eat in.

Lastly, we ordered the 2 piece chicken that came with a fish cake, which was so smelly and fishy that neither myself nor my partner could eat it. I respectfully let our server know that the cake was inedible, and they did nothing to remedy this. No, " can I get you another one?" Take it off the check, etc. " Readers, what do you think is good customer service here? Lastly, the fried chicken was bland and mediocre at best.

We do not have a desire to go back here. There are too many other great...

We were delighted to discover Flights Wine Restaurant during a visit to Bend. It is hidden away just a short drive from downtown with easy parking. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff personable and friendly, food is excellent and the wine selection is great. The domestic and foreign wine selection is surprisingly varied and reasonably priced. If you ask, knowledgeable staff is eager to suggest wine that you might like.

We very much enjoyed sampling the 4 different wine flights and deciding as a group which wine we enjoyed the best and why. Our family liked the restaurant so much that we decided to return again two nights later. If we lived in Bend this would be a regular place to enjoy wine and dine out.

There is an outside deck that would be enjoyable in warm weather. Adjacent to the restaurant is a banquet room that was set up nicely for a...

Attended a fantastic event at Flights Wine Bar last night with the After Hours Networking group. Can't say enough about what a great host Flights was. Their knowledge of wine is unsurpassed in Central Oregon. I enjoyed two surprisingly great wines from Croatia and Lebanon. But the really unexpected part was that Thursday happens to be Fried Chicken Night where they pair remarkable fried chicken with champagne. We left with a bucket of fresh friend chicken and four outstanding butter biscuits. Kelsey, the owner, is an incredible host and her staff is top notch.
