Okay, full disclosure, my band Funk Around & Find Out host the Musicians Open Showcase at the Commonwealth every Monday night. We have also have gigged there. I can say pound for pound this is the best stage in town for musicians to play and an amazing family friendly atmosphere for folks that want to have some great cart food, great drinks and see the best bands that Bend has to offer. This place is great. Great atmosphere, great drinks, And a great food truck to finish it off. And we're here tonight to see one of our favorite bands. Soul'd Out. When we come here we're here for the whole night. This band has a great following here at The Commonwealth. Commonwealth has great seating indoors and out period with large rolling doors incorporating the interior to the exterior period and it makes for a great atmosphere. I used to own night clubs in Portland and I must say that I love the way this place is laid out....

Kind of a mix between a dive bar and a place that's trying to be Chic but missed the point...

We went for their Tuesday night jazz and only two people were tending the entire club, behind the bar.... Very few selections of any hard alcohol so mostly another beer joint.. they only had two whiskeys to serve in. Both bottles were pretty empty....

Looks like it needs a really deep cleaning and someone to come in and upgrade the place somewhat...
