We ordered the ultimate nacho and the 3 taco dip and dine. The nachos were basically beans and chips. I've ordered toys several times before. So this was very disappointing to receive. We took it back to the counter and they gave us a pinch of queso and meat. It was on the same size container they put mild sauce in at the drive thru. One of the tacos was ice cold. So this time I asked for the manager. Her name was Paula. I explained to her that the chicken in the chicken bacon ranch taco was ice cold and asked if they could remake it. She said that's how it comes. I told her to touch the meat. She refused. Then she said it was cold because we let it sit. I told her we JUST got our food and the other tacos weren't cold. So again, I asked her to touch it and she refused and seemed annoyed. She finally said she would remake it but said it won't be hot bc the lettuce and other toppings are what makes it col and the bacon is made in the morning so it's cold. I told her I want the meat hot. I expect the lettuce and other cold toppings to be cold. They weren't even busy for a mistake like that to happen. So many people in the kitchen laughing and playing while sending out cold food. We won't return to this location. Also, the tables had been wiped down but not very good. They had dried food on them. The napkin dispenser had food on it....
Read moreUpdate: Corporate reached out after this post for additional feedback. We also came to a resolution to my bad experiences on my first two visits.
I noticed that many people gave reviews averaging 4.5 stars but I did not see it. Compared to Velvet Taco in downtown Houston, this does not compare. I was very unhappy at the quality for price of food. Rice was room temp, meat was warm not hot, pico was old, the corn seemed defrosted and cold, and seasoning was missing. During my visit, the sprite and the black beans were the best items there. I grabbed a sweet tea to find it somewhat spoiled. Asking the staff member for a sweet tea from the back would possibly be better. However, I tasted the same. My buddy told me about this place for nearly a year. After paying $5 for one taco, I rather go to a taco truck and pay $2.99 for better quality food. Charging customers $5-6 per taco is taking advantage of those who are willing to spend the money. Ill give it another shot though. My total for the visit was $24. Don't expect your food to look like the pics or taste as good as it seems.

Read moreService was excellent. We used the drive thru and they were incredibly nice and patient. I looked forward to ordering their Cuban taco for awhile, so maybe it's just me, but I was a bit disappointed. Not because it wasn't good, but because the flavor wasn't the same in every bite. When I looked inside, there was a random squirt of the sauce and the pickles were not even either. Each bite should taste the same! My husband was also not impressed with it.
We each also ordered another taco, me the plan ole beef taco and hubby the Korean BBQ. Both of us liked these A LOT better. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The beef taco tasted like home made, which means I could have made it at home and saved a few dollars!
Husband did REALLY like the Korean BBQ taco, but it was hot hot hot. Be forewarned!
We also ordered their guac, salsa and cheese dip trio. The guac was great, again tasted very fresh and delicious. Hubby had their creamed corn too, it was ok. The rest of it was just OK. For the $32 price tag I could have made myself all of this at home fresh with money left over. Not overly impressed with much except...
