Due to bad experiences, I stop staying at this property. Once the Holiday Inn in Pinnacle changed to a different brand, I decided to try again. I would like to give zero stars, but that is not an option. When I got to my room, I walked in and it had a very chlorine smell and it felt very humid. I was in a hurry to get to a meeting, so I decided to turn on the AC and leave. When I got back about 5 hours later, the room smelled like a swimming pool, the air was wet, and the smoke alarm kept beeping. I immediately went to the front desk and notified them. They agreed it was a bad situation. The room was so humid with wet air that the bed sheets were also damp. I could not stay in the room. They front desk employee informed me that they were sold out. I had to checkout and determine other plans. They did refund my money, and informed me a manager would call me to discuss ASAP. 2 days later and I have heard nothing back. Completely unacceptable. I am in at least 2 IGH properties each week due to work travel. This was the worst experience I've had in many years of travel. I would not recommend...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE!!!! rooms were filthy. black hairs all over the bed and in the tub. huge water damage marks on ceiling, walls, and floor. smelled moldy. staff was rude when we voiced our concerns. We were severely overcharged and Tina at the front desk was a nightmare. behind that raspy smokers voice is a soulless old lady who tried to take TWICE the amount i owed. Thats right my bill should have been 690ish but my catd was charged 1200 dollars. The “Manager” tried dodging me by not answering the phone. Only after i drove back to the hotel and gave a false name did the manager emerge from his office. Once i angrily asked him to explain why i was charged 1200 dollars he asked me to leave or he would call the police because in his opinion i was being rude and talking over him. I am currently trying to get my money back and SOME of it has been reimbursed. Let me just add that we were in town so that my wife could give birth to our third son. To say the least Holiday Inn mad it and unpleasant experience in the...
Read moreWe stayed at the Holiday Inn on a work trip for my husband. The location was good and overall, the rooms were good. The beds are super cushy, which for most people is a good thing. But for me, it was too cushy. I need a firm mattress for neck and back problems, so I only got about two hours of sleep.
The front desk receptionists were great both last night and this morning, but the breakfast was terrible. The eggs were dry and tasted bad, the bagels were rock hard, and the apple juice was watered-down. I ate two pieces of bacon (which also tasted old), and my husband had bacon and some cereal. He's headed into an inspection that will take quite a bit of time, so it would have been nice to get a solid breakfast that would carry him through that. In fact, we chose this hotel over Hilton because it served breakfast, so we were sorely disappointed.
Prior to having breakfast, we might have considered staying here again, but the meal options were pretty terrible. I don't know that we'd...
