We decided to stop on our way back from Eureka Springs at Cracker Barrel. It is one of my favorite places to eat. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning. Our waitress came to our table about 15 minutes after we had been there to ask about our drinks. We gave her our drink order and food at the same time. This Cracker Barrel apparently did not bring you out Muffins or cornbread like most do you were never offered neither was anyone else around us. Our drinks stayed empty as our waitress ignored our area at all times would go all the way around us. After an hour, we watch people that had been saved after us get their food. We were a little confused, but did not want to say anything. It’s just not us. But after an hour of watching people that came after us and now leave, we still have not received our food. I flagged our waitress down and said we would really like a refill since we’ve been here for almost an hour and where is our food? She came back to say she don’t know where our ticket went…. What you’re just now going to come to us and tell us you’ve lost our ticket and we haven’t even received any notice. She said she will get it in as soon as possible so we waited another 30 minutes for our food then she had The audacity to still not come back and refill any drink drinks as they sat empty I asked to speak to a manager and after about 15 minutes, finally a manager arrived she said what’s the problem I kindly explained that we have been waiting over an hour and 15 minutes and still had not received our food. The waitress had lost our food ticket. She said softly… OK? I said what are we going to do about Said they will put it in. At this point I was very upset, but I still did not raise. My voice of them asked them to hurry. We were needing to be back on the road. Then they had the audacity to bring us our check after we ate our food. With no discount, almost a $60 ticket and no discount after waiting that long and watching them lose our ticket I will not be...
Read moreBrought my family to this establishment Sunday afternoon, and sadly the service was not what we normally receive. The waitress who waited on our table took our order fine but seemed to be in a rush , she brought to go boxes to our table less than 30 minutes into our meal which we did not ask for. And then the bill. My wife had taken our youngest out of the dinning area, and over to the restrooms and then to look around to calm her down after she had a bit of a small meltdown due to her autism before our dinner was brought to us. My wife took a picture of some warmies she thought my oldest would enjoy for her birthday while with our youngest looking, the food was still not out at that point. The picture was taken at 5:02 and they came back to the table at around 5:08 or so and the food was delivered shortly after. By 5:30 the waitress had brought us to-go boxes and a few minutes later the bill none of which were asked for, so you can see why I'm questioning the situation. I checked my watch at that time thinking maybe we had stayed a little longer, and was baffled at the audacity of this waitress to do that. Now look, $100+ on dinner is a lot, my wife , oldest child and I all had steaks, the younger two wanted of course something different. The food was good so that amount of money on dinner isnt the problem but when you go in and wait on your food, and then less than 30 minutes after are being brought to go boxes and a bill its a little ridiculous. When we finally left, the waitress that served our table was giddy and right behind us leaving. So I guess we holding her up from leaving. Needless to say, I do not typically write bad reviews but this instance kinda of got under my skin just a little and I hope management takes care of the issue, because it just...

This visit was completely different....much better! They were very busy, so we were skeptical of how things would go.....Well, the food was great, service was very good. We love the updated menu. The pecan sticky rolls are fabulous. We will definitely return and continue eating here. Original Review: Ate lunch here 05/22/25 with 2 other adults. Got seated right away. Did not see a server for about 10 minutes. When we did she apologized and took our orders. Did not see her again or get our drinks for about another 10 to 12 minutes. She (Morgan) did offer to bring us free biscuits and gravy "if we were really hungry". We passed. Our food came to the table about 40 minutes after we got there. My daughter ordered a side of fruit. We did not get that until we were ready to leave and it was brought to the table along with our bill. My food, dumplings and meatloaf was barely edible. The dumplings were gluey...but they were hot. The meatloaf was barely above room temperature and very bland. I did get a side of green beans I didn't order so I guess that was a bonus. We did not get asked if we wanted refills until we were ready to leave. I did ask for to go containers for my food hoping that maybe later, heated up, the meatloaf would be ok. The waitress brought me 3 or 4 different containers for the food and 4 or 5 lids. None of them matched or went together so I couldn't even use them. We had 2 eggs with sausage, my meatloaf and dumpling meal, chicken fried steak meal. Total bill was around $70. Not what I expected at all. Poor service, bad food, way...
