I use to give this a 5 star. Food was always prepared correctly and service was good for a late night food, it was a typical waffle house. A few weeks ago, they left out some of our order and burnt a waffle. I called after getting home and was told my next visit I would get those items free. Well we have not been in a few weeks but I still asked cashier tonight and she said she had no idea what I was talking about and said call the manager in the morning he can do something. I did not change review over the other visit. HOWEVER, IT HAS CHANGED NOW!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE FOOD, WASTE OF MONEY. I have never had such a dissatisfying experience with a Waffle House. I do not expect much, however I do expect good quality food no matter what place. We placed a phone order and arrived 25mins later to find the workers in a disarray. At least 8 people were in the restaurant, none served and 1 cook and 2 waitresses. Our order was still not complete with half of it on the counter cooked, uncovered and getting cold. The one waitress rang us up and I payed. However, once again the order was a totally different price for same food. When the food was finally looking to be complete, the other waitress was placing it in bags. I specifically checked to make sure there was 4eggs with cheese which I paid for in one of the all star plates. Of course it wasnt it was barely even 2 eggs. I asked her and she said no its 4, I told her there was no way it was 4 it was the same amount as other one, I've ordered it many times. She then tells me I'm sorry we called in more help. I wanted to ask would they help scramble me 2 more eggs but I refrained from making a scene. However, I asked the waitress that took my payment for a picture of my ticket and told her why and she handed me a menu and said prices shouldnt change but we went up in prices. I asked for picture of ticket again and she told me use the menu. It was complete chaos in the tonight. All employees seemed upset with each other. One on phone texted whole time, one making herself some coffee drink. I already left upset but what do you do when you want waffle house at almost 11 o'clock at night. When I got home, I was shocked to see both sausage and bacon were overcooked on one side and barely cooked on the other. All hashbrowns were really greasy and soggy, not crispy or cooked feeling at all. The toasts were soggy and no apple butter and no bacon on my husband bacon deluxe cheeseburger. Then the grits had hard chunks of burnt grits throughout. It was a very disgusting meal that we only ate the few eggs we had and waffles. Very disappointed. Yes I know it's a waffle house, I'm fine with greasy food that is delicious and eatable. However, I'm not find with customer service being rude to me as I asked ligetament questions and concerns about my meal. I wish I had not paid, I wish I had walked out and not waited over 35mins for food that we couldn't even eat. We will drive all the way to Springdale or Centerton for now on or we will go to Dennys or IHOP, we will never visit...
Read moreTerrible experience here, go to a different location. My family and I had come in the Arkansas after a 14 hour car ride and wanted nothing more than some Waffle House to finish the day. So, we called from our hotel room to later pickup our order. The first time I called, a lady picked up and said hi can you wait? I have to check a customer out. And so I said of course, no problem. Then I am out on hold and surprise surprise, I’m never talked to again. I’m left on hold for at least 20 minutes until I hung up. Then, I called back. This time it went straight to voicemail stating that they appreciate our time and service, but they are currently assisting someone and to call back later. For the next 30 minutes, I continued to call and to no avail, voicemail every time. I’m not even going to go into that Waffle House. I’m not going to fund a location that doesn’t treat every customer with value and respect and especially one that sends you straight to voicemail when you call. And they can’t even pull the “it’s third shift and everyone is tired” card. It’s a 24/7 restaurant. If you can’t handle the hours, go work somewhere else. Very disappointed, Waffle house was...
Read moreOne star is one more than what I wanted to rate. We were the only people there at first and as we walked in, all of the staff was sitting. I totally understand breaks, but the place was not clean. Our table had dried hash browns left on the table from whoever was before us and the waitress laid our silverware directly on the table. After mentioning multiple times that we needed more time, she kept asking what we wanted as if she was in a hurry. Our waffles had to be recooked because they forgot about them to the point they were black. The gravy on my hash browns had a huge dried clump of gravy in it. Otherwise, the food was okay. Two of the four employees there went out on a smoke break. Our waitress decided to join them even though she was still serving us. On her way out, she told the other waitress to “kiss her grits” as the other waitress was cleaning off another table. Our waitress was not polite whatsoever and acted like we were an inconvenience. First time there and will...
