Alright, here’s the truth about Loveless—a place so tragically bad, it’s almost impressive.
It all started off promising enough: a nice hostess welcomed us with the enthusiasm of someone who hadn’t yet realized what horrors awaited. Little did I know, this was merely the calm before the storm.
Enter the man-bun. One of the staff members, strutting around like he invented oxygen, had an attitude that could peel paint off walls. He acted like we were blessed just to witness his mediocre service skills. If this guy is the spirit animal of Loveless, they’re in deeper trouble than I thought.
And then, as if on cue, things went from bad to downright surreal. Some random guy just shoves my friend’s dad—a man in his 60s who just wanted a drink—right there at the bar! The staff? They watched like it was an experimental theater piece. Nobody even checked if he was okay. I half-expected someone to grab popcorn and start taking bets.
And don’t get me started on the food. I don’t know what I did in a past life to deserve that hotdog, but it tasted like roadkill lightly seasoned with regret. Honestly, I’d rather eat a frozen gas station burrito.
In a town with limited bar options, Loveless somehow stands out as a total disaster. If you’re looking for an experience where you can eat terrible food, witness borderline WWE matches, and bask in the radiant glow of a surly man-bun, by all means,...
Read moreWhile visiting a friend in Northwest Arkansas, I wasn’t expecting to stumble upon a spot that felt like it belonged in the heart of D.C.—but that’s exactly what I found at Loveless Cocktail Club in Bentonville. This place is a vibe from the moment you walk in. The lighting, the decor, the atmosphere—it all hits just right. Think modern lounge meets underground speakeasy, with an energy that pulls you in and keeps you there. One of the standout moments of the night? The live DJ—Theronious Chunk—was spinning real vinyl records. That’s something you don’t see often these days, and it made the experience that much more authentic and cool. The music selection was on point the entire night—soulful, funky, and smooth in all the right ways. Now let’s talk drinks and food. I tried the Thai iced tea cocktail and WOW—slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced with a kick. One of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. I also took a chance on their hot dog, which was made with real beef and seriously delicious—way beyond what you’d expect from typical bar food. As someone from the Northern Virginia/DC area, I felt like I had been transported back home. Loveless Cocktail Club absolutely exceeded my expectations and is now at the top of my list for must-visit places in Bentonville. Whether you're a local or just passing through, you NEED to check this place out. I’ll definitely be back next time...
Read moreI think we need to give this new bar some grace Bentonville. It’s very clear that there’s still some things that this new bar is trying to figure out, and maybe they didn’t anticipate the business they’d receive immediately? The two drinks I had were great, my bf and his brother got two beers that they approved of. The hostess forgot to give us menus immediately and she was extremely apologetic asking that it not damage our opinions of the bar. You can tell some of the workers are stressed but are trying their best to make this bar successful. As far as the “hotdog” smell goes, I didn’t notice any smell other than liquor, and as far as the employee with the “man bun” goes, we did meet him and he wasn’t joyful but he was by no means mean to us. The music was a fun additive to the vibe and I really appreciated how it wasn’t over powering. I could still hear the conversation I was a part of. The design of the bar is amazing, unique, and something I’d love to continue going to with friends in...
