Had a lovely time tonight tasting the wines. Atmosphere is nice, and the lady who came to explain her wines was a delight. However. As a past server myself I understand busy, I do, but downright ignoring a table in lue of not only the "older" crowd but the NEWER tables while ignoring mine was downright insulting. I love wine, go to wine tastings often and have never left without at least one bottle. We were going to order food, and wanted to stay longer try more wines on the menu. But didn't even get WATER till I was handed my check. The only thing I can even fathom for this straight lack of attention is I'm younger and may have "came for just a taste". 2 stars fully out of respect for the women who directed his attention our way and loving that we have an area to taste finer wines in my area. But over all I wouldn't choose to come back if there wasn't an event. Edit: It's not cared what I think or how clients are perceived. So I felt ones more fitting. The experience I had as a customer still leaves a bad taste in my mouth over that night and whenever someone asks me...
Read moreI have visited the charming town of Bentonville a couple of times and stumbled into Ramo d'Olivo, just on the leading edge of town this past trip. The owner Laura was in and greeted me like I was her sister... I felt so welcomed! She showed me how to taste the olive oils and gave me a brief lesson on the differences of each one, where they came from and how I could use them for cooking. She even had little recipes for customers to try.
In the rear of the shop I could see there was wine bar so I decided to indulge in a late after glass, especially since it was "Wine Down Wednesday"... cute promotion. Simple cheese and meat platter did the trick. On my way out I made a purchase for my kitchen and she even said she'd ship for me!!! Honolulu isn't near by:) Happy to have found Ramo......

The larger room on the side where we were seated is totally an instagram room - the lighting in there is perfect and the way it's set up allows for the perfect shot - it's unfortunate that I didn't get a picture because the room is definitely gram worthy.
We were told that they serve one pasta dish on Monday's which sells out really quickly - we came on a Thursday and weren't able to try it but definitely seems to have...
