Zaxbys has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. It's a real shame this is the closest location to me, because I've had to find new favorites to replace it.
I came a few weeks ago to this location where we ordered our normal chicken fingers and fries. We were asked if we wanted to make the fries a "large size or normal size". We were confused but decided to get two large sizes. Thinking that maybe it was just something new Zaxby's was doing. We get our food and it's the exact same normal amount of fries we have always gotten but ended up paying close to an additional $10 for absolutely nothing extra at all. We felt scammed.
We went today to give it another try. We ordered our normal chicken fingers and fries (and we were NOT asked what size we wanted the fries which definitely annoyed us right off the bat reminding us of the last visit). We get to the window and ask for BBQ sauce instead of Zax sauce because we forgot to mention while we were ordering. We were charged for the BBQ sauce because apparently it was "additional" sauce even though it was the ONLY sauce we were asking for compared to what they normally give us.
We were asked to pull up in a spot to wait. No problem. We had our drinks. My wife picked her drink up to find out the lid wasn't even tightly put on and it spilled absolutely everywhere. When the girl came with our food we asked if we could possibly have another lid because the one on there is not fitting correctly. She replied "I'm sorry ma'am. That's the only lids we have." And she walked away before we could even reply.
Disappointed this location is so bad. But we won't be back...

I don’t know if one of the girls in the drive through was new or not but her attitude was awful. We placed our order and drove to the window only to have her repeat our order back wrong so we corrected her. She didn’t like that, and said “well that’s what the screen said” okay…so you clearly read us someone else’s order. Oh well. We got the correct drinks and were told to pull into one of the spots to wait on the chicken ti cook. Waited 10 minutes, no biggie we knew for the signature it would be a wait. Girl comes out and brings us the wrong bag. So we pull through to the drive-thru again and tell the Nice blonde lady, Sarahjo I think was her name, about it. She helps us. Here’s where the attitude comes in big time, the other girl (in the picture) comes up to her while the drive-thru window is open and states that we are wrong and that she gave us the right food. Well our receipt says different, clearly we had the wrong food and have proof. She continues to try and fight Sarahjo about our food while the window is still open for us to hear. Then she goes to a girl in a red shirt and starts pointing to us and shaking her head. Normally I wouldn’t care but it occurred constantly the whole time. We were just trying to get the food situation sorted out and the only reason I am not giving 1 star is because of Sarahjo, again I’m pretty sure she was the blonde lady helping in the drive-thru. She was very nice and helped us out a lot. She deserves a better crew...
Read moreMy main complaint is about the lack of being able to Communicate a complaint. I ordered a salad and two 4 piece meals. I asked for no coleslaw extra toast on both of them. I ordered an additional chicken strip with my salad because I wanted to give one to my dog for a treat. I asked for extra ranch. I didn’t get the chicken strip that I paid for. I didn’t get the ranch I paid for they didn’t give me toast. They gave me coleslaw and my husband cannot stand coleslaw my main problem with this is that it’s an easy fix. I just wish they would have Let me drive back And fix it for me, but I couldn’t get anyone on the phone. I called six times just to get a voicemail every time. Usually this location does a great job the past two times I’ve been there. It’s been absolutely terrible. Also, I can understand cold chicken strips on the salad, I don’t love it but okay fine, but they were so stale, I couldn’t even eat them. I’m just saying if you have a problem with an order you’re gonna have to drive all the way back there and hope that they were willing to fix it for you. The most annoying thing about the whole thing is that they wouldn’t pick up the phone.
