Rush Bowls — Restaurant in Bentonville

We ordered the Razorback bowl, and it was pretty good except that for being a strawberry base, the base had basically no flavor. Also of the two employees working today, the one that checked us out didn’t even say a single word to us or look at us at all. The other girl was nice, but we were not greeted or told goodbye on our way out. Not fun to feel like an inconvenience when you’re just trying to get something to eat.

I do not really want a free bowl, as this customer service problem seems to have gone on for a long time. I’ve occasionally stopped in to Rush Bowls a few times since opening and it’s always like this. It seems that a certain type of person always gets hired, which is pretty obvious to me, as the employees always look like a certain type of person. Maybe hire friendlier people or diversify a little bit. I understand there is a staffing issue, which can be difficult, but the employees you DO have need to be compassionate individuals that know how to care for...

I was looking forward to trying this place the other day due to the cleaner ingredients in their smoothies, but unfortunately it was a letdown. The price point was expected for the higher quality ingredients, but the flavors were lacking. This was surprising, being that it’s not hard to make a bunch of blended fruit taste good. The staff here also need some major training on good customer service. No one was greeted when we entered the establishment, we were met with eye rolls from the young lady who helped us when we politely asked a question regarding an item on the menu, and both staff members were very clearly annoyed with there being a line and made several comments to each other about how it was too busy and everyone would just have to wait for their drinks (no one in the establishment seemed to be complaining about the wait). Went in and got three smoothies, tipped them well over 25% and the employees began to complain about the lack of tips they made that morning!! Not to mention the girly who made our smoothies did NOT want to be there and she was not happy to be making our order. How rude can you be when someone comes and tips you more than you've made all day? We should have been able to take back our tip after all was said and done.
