If I could give DQ 37 stars, I would—but math keeps getting in the way.
Let me paint you a picture: I walked into Dairy Queen with the emotional range of a soggy mop. My day? A mess. My mood? Tragic. My hair? Uncooperative. But the second I laid eyes on that glowing menu, I felt like I had entered a frosty temple of miracles.
The staff? SO nice. Like… “makes you rethink your whole attitude” kind of nice. One guy handed me my order and said, “Here you go, enjoy!” and I’m not saying I’ll name my next child after him—but I’m not not saying that either.

I had a very simple order and the cashier messed it up then got irritated and rude with me when I pointed it out and asked for the sprinkles she forgot to ring up. I even offered to pay the extra with no problem. Apparently they were out of twist so instead of telling me they just put a tiny bit of vanilla on top of a bunch of chocolate. Then she told me our Dilly Bar of all things would be a few minutes.... the one thing that is already prepared! I don't think we will be back anytime soon which is a shame since my kids loved it...
