Unforgettable Experience at Rise & Grind Cafe!

I recently visited Rise & Grind Cafe in Berea, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The cafe’s decor is charming—perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or working for a few hours.

The coffee itself? Outstanding. I had their signature espresso blend, and it was one of the best cups I’ve had in a long time—rich, smooth, and full of flavor. You can tell they take their beans seriously here. If you're a coffee lover, this is your spot.

But the experience didn’t stop at just coffee! The baked goods were a delightful surprise. I tried a cinnamon roll that was pure perfection—fresh, soft, and with just the right amount of sweetness. The pairing with my coffee was a dream come true.

What stood out the most, though, was the warmth of the staff. Leo and Tammy, the owners, are absolutely wonderful—it's clear they care deeply about their customers and the quality of their offerings. The vibe in the cafe is laid-back yet professional, making it the ideal place for both catching up with friends or getting some work done.

I’ve found my new favorite coffee spot in Berea. Whether you're grabbing a quick cup or planning to relax and unwind for a while, I cannot recommend Rise & Grind Cafe enough. A 5-star experience through...

I hate to admit it, but I was so skeptical of this place and all their 5 star reviews. Usually that’s not a good sign & the reviews are fixed.

BUT !!! I recently visited here and I thought it was definitely worth the 5 stars!

I came on a Friday morning, and there was no line. There’s a parking lot, which is always helpful.

Lots of fun drink combinations. I can’t remember which latte I ended up going with, but it was sooooo good!!! The sizes are huge though, so just a heads up!

There were some food choices. Seemed like healthy options and some pastries. And also Hersey’s ice cream ! I would have loved a breakfast sandwich without a meat option, but they all seemed to have meat on them. I could have asked for a custom sandwhich, but our barista wasn’t very friendly. Not rude or anything!!! Just didn’t smile or say hi. Just stared at us. Not a big deal, just not very welcoming! (Maybe she hadn’t had her own coffee yet haha).

There were lots of different seating options all decorated differently. Lots of different styles, but seemed like an overall safari theme, maybe. (I was obsessed with that cute little elephant and I want one!!!)

On the way out, the guy who was working was super friendly to us! Seemed very kind and personable. He made me smile!

Overall, I would definitely come back ! I really...

Rise and Grind is one of those places you’re just happy to have nearby. I always get iced espresso drinks and have not been disappointed in any that I have tried. They always have some new creative drinks on the menu besides their regular menu items.

The breakfast sandwiches are awesome—fresh, filling, and way better than anything you'd get at a drive-thru. And don’t skip the muffins or cookies—they’re excellent as well and all baked locally not packaged stuff.

What really makes this place special, though, is the people. It’s veteran-owned, and the owners and staff are some of the kindest folks you’ll meet. They’re always friendly, always thankful, and you can tell they truly appreciate every customer who walks through the door.

They’ve also got a great rewards program that actually gives you something back relatively quickly if you're a regular, unlike the big coffee chains where you have to spend a fortune to get a free drink.

If you’re looking for a chill spot with good coffee, great food, and even better people, Rise...

Live tweeting this, … so please, pay no mind the glass half full. I assure you it was to the brim with goodness before I got situated. I don’t often write a review, but when I do, I always reserve it for a moment I feel truly moved. What a serendipitous morning I’ve had thanks to this outstanding establishment’s service & affogato (with OAT chocolate chunk ice cream) !! Haven’t had something so succulent grace my taste buds since 2018, I can remember the exact day in Trastevere, (Rome, Italy). Sitting along the riverside Tiber when my palate was last satiated in such a fashion…. Incredible. Do yourself a favor, stop in, grab an affo H-O-T-T-O-G-O and head to the falls for a show of colors and sounds that will pair in such compliment to the magic brewing over at Rise and Grind … you’re welcome in advance ! ✌️ 🫶☕️🍦

Top notch coffee, pastries, atmosphere, and people. It was our first time in today and we already can’t wait to return. The owner and staff were so friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them about their newly opened shop, where they get their beans, etc. The owner was kind enough to let us try a shot of espresso. It was some of the best I’ve ever had. What I like about the coffee here is that it is bold. You can taste the flavors they put in their lattes, but they don’t overpower the espresso. The espresso is definitely the star, as it should be. This is also a veteran-owned shop. Love to support our great veterans. We look forward to our next visit!
