I am pregnant so unfortunately I’ve been frequenting this location a lot since it’s right next door. The food is usually good and fresh . The service is where my issue lies . I would like to recognize the many wonderful and kind employees who work hard and keep a. Good attitude despite being frustrated and tired . But unfortunately my last few visits have been not so pleasant employee experiences. One person who appears to be a shift lead or manager on days and some Caucasian man with dread locks who I normally see on evenings , both have very poor attitude and customer service . The incident with the man who got upset because I asked if what he gave me might have accidentally been a diet soda (I cannot have aspartame) and proceeded to still give me diet or what tasted like diet or bad soda the machine might have needed maintenance I don’t know but the he rolled his eyes slammed the window and didn’t say a word to me after that said everything thing was in the bag . It was not . It was night on my way to work so I couldn’t go back around . Thankfully customer service and a different manager or shift lead corrected the situation without issue following. Fast forward I go to redeem my coupon I received and the nice gentlemen needed assistance from the manager / shift lead , who helped him put it in but I questioned it because I wasn’t sure if I misunderstood the coupons value , she started briskly typing stuff scoffing rolling her eyes and was being short with her employee and said “TELL HER TO GO TELL HER TO GO “ angerly multiple times and got her employee all flustered . Now I understand people get frustrated but come on. Over a simple misunderstanding?Interactions and attitude like this make me want to go to other locations instead and give them the business. I am not looking for freebies or trying to be a karen its literally just the fact of the matter the prices have sky rocketed and the quality has dropped including customer service . It’s blatant these corporate companies value running a skeleton crew and stressing their employees to put more money in their pockets . And better training clearly needs to be implemented and not rushed . While yes this is just a fast food joint , people shouldn’t be made to feel like a burden for wanting a quick meal or a new employee shouldn’t be made to feel like an idiot because their higher up is impatient . When the lanes cleared, I pulled up and heard "be with you in a moment " after a minute or two another car pulled up to the speaker in the other lane and was immediately helped, so I left. This time, when I finally got to the speaker, there was just silence. After several minutes, afraid the guy in the other lane who pulled up after me was once again going to get served first, I said, "Hello?" and finally got greeted. Usually when I pull up to the pay window, they ask if my name is Cyn, and either givr me a receipt or at least offer me one. Instead the worker looked confused and said "Do you need something???" Guess not. Wouldn't want me filling out one of those surveys, would you? The food was okay. I'm used to mcgriddles being super hot, moist and soft. This was warm, dry, and actually crispy around the edge! I'm so glad I wasn't taking it home to eat, or it would've been cold! I had to eat it fast, or it would've been cold by the time I was done. Read more6/23/25: I can't believe I gave this Berea, OH store another chance to disappoint me. They should be ASHAMED of the cheeseburger they gave me at the drive thru. It was so totally burnt, it was inedible. See picture!! I cannot believe they are still serving garbage and remain open! Of course I did not have time to turn around and take it back. To think they have a sign in the window saying it's a family run business. Totally unacceptable food.Total fiasco. Was overcharging me saying the McDouble deal was buy one get one free, when it was supposed to be free with a $3 purchase. Finally straightened out, but they gave me the wrong order. Then I realized I paid $1.99 for a large sweet water (supposed to be iced tea) I could see right through it! You can easily see my receipt through the cup. Good thing I didn't get ice to water it down. It went in the garbage! My normal Mc Donald's only charges $1 for a large sweet tea & at least theirs tastes like tea. This was a terrible experience.
