Richard's Sub World & Deli — Restaurant in Berkeley Township

First off great subs but I’ll never ever go back. The customer service SUCKS. My husband ordered 6 whole subs to pick up, I was in the car when he placed the order. I went to pick it up and they greeted me and asked how they can help me. I said I have an order to pick up and gave my name. When I looked in the bag there was 2 whole subs and a half of a sub, I said my husband ordered 6 whole subs. The girl at the counter says ( with an attitude) “ no he didn’t”, I replied, “yes he did “. She said what’s in the bag ? I said two whole subs and a half. I said what subs are in the bag, And she said two whole Italian subs and a half a club with bacon I replied, he did not order a sub with bacon and she said ( with an attitude) “yes he did”. I said to her I would like four more whole subs please And she said, ( with an attitude ) “ I guess the half of a sub is a waste now”. She proceeded to make the four other subs I asked her to make. When she got to the register, I feel her attitude is much better. It’s not my problem that whoever took the order over the phone didn’t write it down properly. Not only was her sale more with 6 subs I think she realized she gave me an attitude. I will never go back to that store again. Hands down the best sub I have ever eaten!! Was actually on my way to one of the chain tight sub places when I saw the sign and decided to pull in. They were just locking up but open the door to let me in and made my sandwich. The staff was absolutely fantastic and not at all snippy about the fact that they were trying to leave and I had come to the door they made me feel very welcome and not at all like I was a bother. The sandwich was out of this world! Fresh bread fresh toppings plenty of meat I can't say enough good things about this place. So glad I accidentally found them. We used Richards to cater my daughter’s first birthday in June and everything was absolutely seamless from start to finish. They were by far the most bang for your buck - portions were very generous! Communication was perfect and they were the one vendor I had zero issues with when it came to transparency and communication. In the day of pick up, everything was all ready in time and packaged perfectly. They made that morning so much easier on me! Thank you again, we will definitely be using you for many many parties...
