I can't believe I just stumbled on this absolute hidden gem! The vibes and ambiance are so fresh and comfortable, it was easy to lose track of time and hang out here well past when I finished my meal. The staff are so sweet and inviting! You can almost always count on running into one of the owners here as well, since they're owner operated. Their hands on approach is apparent in every little detail. Two of the owners introduced me to their lovingly crafted menu and gave me a full walkthrough of each carefully selected offering. I really enjoyed hearing about how dedicated they are to providing the best quality food and drinks with so many dietary needs and preferences in mind. No soy, gluten, or dairy- whole, healthy foods full of fresh flavor! You choose your bowl base and then your protein- they have Chicken, Shrimp, Legumes mix, or Fried eggs. And they serve brunch bowls ALL DAY! That is a huuuuge plus for someone like me whose favorite dinner is breakfast. Their drinks are also sourced from a woman owned local business and are vegan, gmo free, and are prebiotic and probiotic! When I tell you- I have never had such a tasty meal and beverage that was so good for me at such a great price. 11/10, I'll be back here OFTEN! Sometimes I want to keep hidden gems to myself, but I really want to show this place the love it deserves, y'all gotta come here! I had the Seasonabowl (adorable name, and delicious) and I saw a bunch of their other bowls and they all look incredible. To drink I had TWO of the 'wildwonder' strawberry passion drinks... they were just too good I needed another for the road. Can't wait to...
Read moreThe food was excellent. The flavors tasted fresh, the food felt fresh to the tongue and it was visually appealing. I had the Torarashi 2.0 with the 2 eggs on top. It was delicious! The cilantro vinaigrette was just right. There was just the right amount of tartness from the vinegar, which added the needed pop to the vegetables and rice quinoa blend. The food is sautéed to order. Therefore, it is not soggy from sitting. It is crisp and fresh. I wish I had discovered this earlier. The service was a little rough. It appeared that there was some training going on; I hope. The online menu needs to be updated. They seem to be only serving the first two pages of the printed menu. When I asked for the garlic shrimp bowl, I was met with a stare, then after some discussion in the back, someone finally came forward saying what I showed them is an old menu. Go by the photo of the menu board. I am definitely going back. Parking is difficult as it is street parking on a...
Read moreWe have a group lunch for our lab every other week, and take turns organizing the food - people always choose unhealthy things (I’ve eaten more pupusas than I care to admit) but I love Humbowl so I took the risk. Everyone LOVED it! People were thanking me because they didn’t have to feel like crap all day and got to enjoy an even more delicious meal. It’s nearly impossible to serve hot food at these things, so I was so pleased that Eric delivered reasonably warm food (exactly on time 🙏) but moreover how incredibly delicious everything still was at room temp. The thoughtful packaging kept the food’s textures intact and was mostly biodegradable/compostable - bravo! Bowls, forks, and serving utensils were all provided for no additional cost, big plus. The grad students reused the sauce containers to pack what little leftovers there were to take home, and we now have serving spoons and ladles, which will be reused regularly for many future lab lunches...
