Welcome to the dark side!! Went to Berlin brewing for the first time and started off with a flight. Their beer selection ranges from stouts to porters to IPAs and others. I went with the stout, Grey Earle, smoked porter and the abbey double (sp) as shown in the picture. All were good with the most interesting being the smoked porter and my favorite being the abbey double. With that I ordered a 16 ounce glass of the abbey. My wife tasted a couple of the beer selections but ended up with a glass of the home made root beer. The root beer aroma was so strong that I could smell it without getting close to her glass. Been here a few times and have not been disappointed. The beer selections change and they have some favorites that don't go away. Tonight I had their seasonal Christmas beer. It was fantastic! I don't recall the name exactly but it was Holly Jolly something. It was 9% alcohol so there was a two beer limit on that one. It came with a cinnamon and sugar rimmed glass and it was so good with that hint of cinnamon and sugar on the glass! The decor on the inside is unique and gives the place a nice vibe. From start to finish, we felt completely welcomed and supported. The owners (a truly lovely couple!) were incredibly kind, approachable, and genuinely dedicated to making everything run smoothly. You can really feel the heart and soul they put into this place.
