I've dined here many times and by now, I'm practically a regular who shows up in the weekend or off days on the weekday. Their waitresses are so kind, so please be easy on them because they probably endure a lot during their shifts. Though, my minor gripe is that I wished that I'd be seated more conveniently in the back or a corner somewhere, so I won't have my appetite ruined by noisy families with bratty kids or being in the way of the elderly who come here.
But I digress.
Their selection is fairly good throughout the day and it would make you try everything the first time around. As a regular and frequent diner, you'll eventually be wishing there was more. I can tell you from experience that this place only maybe swaps out 2 or 3 containers of food during the day between lunch and dinner. Which isn't that much of a difference if you ask me.
They also offer a variety of novelties by the cash register, which is a cool touch to see and at fairly decent prices. All in all, I think you do get a good value for what's offered here and I'm only speaking on the buffet side of this restaurant, because it's the main attraction. I've not ordered a single thing off of their menu so I can't tell you if anything is bad or...

3 out of 5 is okay. To be honest, we were skeptical because some of the recent reviews, buuuuut this place is NOT BAD. If you grew up around the barre area, this is the chinese joint for you. And thats fine. Is the food of exceptional quality? We're here to be real. It's not. We did NOT find any cockroaches in the food. The food was hot. It was coming out fresh. Was not too salty or over seasoned or under seasoned, for that matter. Waitresses were prompt but not pushy and didn't ask too many questions. The hot and sour soup was fire. Very tasty.
So again, if you're in the area and don't feel like going too far out, but you want American-Chinese food - and a BUFFET - then this is your place. Oh yeah the fortune cookies were really tasty too. They were like vanilla-chocolate??
We will definitely check out China Moon for...
Read moreWe read the reviews before dining here. Many said it was overpriced, but we felt it was very fairly priced. Ordering fountain drinks did bring our tab up, so if you want to save skip those and order water.
Others said the food wasn't always the freshest. It's a buffet, so that's somewhat expected. There's a large variety of dishes, and you can eat as much as you want! I had two full plates and a third of dessert. Everything I ate was pretty tasty. My kids absolutely destroyed a bunch of food as well. My wife likes to avoid meat, and while they don't have a specific vegetarian section she was able to find enough items to get full.
Our server was also very attentive and quickly cleared our old plates when we got up to get more food.
Overall a solid dinner option. It's obviously not fine dining, but a great...
