Man, for years, I was told this was the pace to go for Chinese food in North country. Long story short: It's not. So, time for an honest review. This was our first time at the restaurant so everything you're seeing is how we felt bout it Partner and I stopped for dinner on 5-24 round 5. The restaurant itself was sparsely decorated and there wasn't a smell of... anything in the air. Concerning but whatever. It might be a sleeper. First: Appetizers I got the boneless spare ribs and egg rolls The spare ribs had no real flavor to them other than kind of off pork. They were super moist and tender though. They had great potential. The egg rolls were pretty decent. I'd like them to be a bit thicker than a traditional spring roll at the price point they were sold but yeah, solid Crab Rangoons they were okay, nothing special. Lots of imitation crab (not upset about it) but they were bland, no seasoning at all. They are edible but could be better. And for our main : Gen Gaos chicken / pork fried rice I'm sorry, this one was offensive. Both of us were so put off by the sauce used on the chicken (which were clearly store-bought chicken tenders) we couldn't eat it. (Franks red hot should not be in a Chinese food kitchen. Not sorry) The little bit of the rice that had not been contaminated by the sauce was really good. I'm actually really upset that I wasn't able to have more of that fried rice. Server was kind. I wish she was more patient in a answering questions. The correct answer to the question "what kind of beer do you have" is not "what kind do you want". What if I'd come out with something crazy like some imported that you didn't have. Rattle off your domestics and that's it. That's all you need to do. Oh cost. Pretty pricey for what you're getting. At the end of the day all I got to say about this place is that there are other places in the area.

I went to the main house, Mountain music, karaoke, and DJ lounge/bar area at around 930 to possibly have a drink, and get some food, I went inside, hung out for about a minute and the waitress that was there blonde hair younger girl She was very rude from the beginning. I asked for my ID which is valid until 9/5/2023. and I am almost 22 years old. She told me I was not 21 and her system says 2002 and I was born in 2001 but it is 2023 and I am 21 then proceeds to slam the door in my face and lock it. Amazing place to go 10 out of 10 would not recommend.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My friends and I came from out of state and this looked like a viable option for Chinese food based on the Yelp reviews I read. I've never been so wrong. My friends ordered Chow mein and it was the most discussing thing I have ever seen. The liquid in the chow mein looked like gray dirty snow from out back. They could not eat any of it. The staff was friendly but it doesn't make up for the disappointment.

I wish I could write a review with no stars but to be fair, we have ordered from the Ming house so many times because we liked their food! We still do! And the staff was always nice! but sadly we will not be coming here anymore. To try and make this story short.. we ordered for pickup, got home with the wrong order after we asked the waitress if she was sure it was our order because we thought the bag was too small as well as the check. She insisted we had the right order. (Shame on us for not opening the bag in front of her to verify but we trusted her insisting it was our food). We get home, call in as we had a completely different order. They tell us to drive back to the restaurant (25 minutes) and wait for the guy who took our bag with him who lives 45 minutes away so we can exchange bags.. we thought this was strange because how would we know if he ate from it already? I mean no offense but it’s normal to drive and snack at your bag of take out, right? they did give us $10 for the inconvenience. Then we proceeded to wait almost one hour for the guy to come back. Honestly, I feel like if they had made our order fresh it probably would have cost then the same $10 and the issue would have been properly solved. We would even have paid the difference in checks as our check was a bit more expensive then the other guy’s!! After an hour of sitting at their parking lot we left feeling like we were fooled around. In the middle of this virus where people can’t go inside a restaurant to eat, they seriously asked us to wait for the other patron to come back with our food so we could exchange bags. And when the guy finally got there they called us saying “we’ll, we tried to compensate you”. I’m sorry... you can search my profile.. I’m not the kind of person that goes around writing bad reviews for everything and anything. Heck I don’t even write a review if I find a hair in my food. We had ordered a poopoo platter, a scallion pancake, extra crab Rangoon’s and a hidden treasure. We got home with a #1, egg rolls and...

I have ordered from here many times with good service. Last week though, my mother of 67 years got her $580 ss check and wanted to order out once for the month as a treat with all this virus stuff going. We decided on Chinese and order from Ming House. We ordered a Tid Bit 7, crab rangoon, chicken finger and large pork fried rice. When the order came they forgot the Rice so we called and they said they would send some over. The driver showed up with more rangoons. We called back again to tell them that we still haven't gotten the rice and I was told "Well, I don't think she's going to want to go over again." I could not believe it. She said she would talk to the manager and get back to me about a refund or coming over again. I never heard from them again. We never got our food or our money back. Ended up ordering somewhere else and food got cold waiting.I would like to thank Ming House for making our health situation even a worse situation than it was. Me and my family will never order from there again. I own a small business in Berlin I used to order lunch from there all the time. No more. Cant believe they treat...
