As a local and somebody who also works in the food industry, I can say without a doubt, one of the best places to eat and enjoy a nice drink in Berlin,NH! Not only is the menu great, but they have wonderful specials as well! For example, they have started happy hour with $2 Bud Light drafts, $1 bone in wings from 9-11, they have sports watching parties and recently also did some beer tastings, and their daily specials are always great too! Not to mention the fact that you can get food past 9pm unlike every other restaurant in Berlin stops serving food then. Not only is the food great but they have a wonderful hardworking staff as well! The management and owners seem very helpful to their staff and are friendly. As somebody who works in the restaurant industry, it’s important to understand that as a new restaurant they are going to have a few hiccups, but from what I’ve seen, they do their best to resolving them! Overall, the food, drinks, service and atmosphere are all great and I would recommend this to anybody visiting the area. I am so glad to have this spot in our town, and don’t just take my word for it, definitely go check it...
Read moreFirst time visiting. The waitress was the hardest working girl I have seen and she was working the entire restaurant (Gabby I think her name was). All of the tables were full, which is nice to see. We are bar people so luckily the bar was not full. Good selection of beers, Tuckerman Rock Pile was on tap, which happens to be one of my favorites. We ordered the BBQ poutine which could have been a home run, however, there was about two quarts of sauce on them. We had to save the fries from drowning in such a catastrophe. The fries that were not drenched were tasty and crunchy! We came for a snack as we were in the area. The subs that were coming out of the kitchen looked full and tasty! We will certainly go back, but would like to see some TLC added to the poutine options. 10/10 ⭐ for Gabby the Bartender/waitress/takeout girl/phone answerer/busser/hostess/probably...
Read moreI always try to visit a local place a while before I make my review, so here is my photo dump and review. We have been coming here quite often and have really been enjoying the food and the atmosphere. The menu covers all bases that the palate craves (steak, seafood, vegetarian and even international inspired dishes) I've personally tried everything that i photographed and more. Great appetizers (I recommend the Tavern trio or Mozzarella cigars) Excellent and exciting entrees! I highly recommend attending a 2 for $40 date night on Wednesday. These nights got me into desserts again. Homemade carrot cake is a must try! Overall an exciting atmosphere with fun music trivia nights, great food and drinks, good specials and things to do. This was a very good addition to our Main street and brought life back to Berlin Main street after 9pm. Hyrdo Tavern is...
