Chicky's Coffee — Restaurant in Bernalillo

Just moved to Bernalillo and this place was on my list of coffee shops to try out. It's within walking distance of our house, and it's super cute around here. Plus the view of Sandia. Some of this stuff is just "made up it seems". I mean, i got a vanilla late with oatmilk, brought it home. It started raining out and i'm reading a book enjoying an amazing latte. I'm waiting for the tornado to come now.

The reviews sound great too. I'm excited to even read someone is using an aero press on the beans and it is delicious. That's the stuff I do too.

They have treats, didn't try them yet. The inside is super cute. Just heads up, they will have renovations going on early august 2025.

Hidden little shop just off Main Street. Any place that roasts their own beans has to be great, right! Staff were friendly with great recommendations, so you don’t get into a rut. Large section of products, at reasonable prices. You can buy your favorite coffee to take home. If you are traveling through, but find a coffee you really like you can order online the next time. This isn’t for us, because we live locally. Our friends from out of town said they would be using the online option soon. Very surprisingly it’s the only thing in back because restaurant next door didn’t survive the Covid timeline. Large parking lot in back would accommodate an RV. I stopped here on the way back to the balloon festival because they had 5 stars on Google. I realized there were very few reviews, so I was skeptical; however, I dont leave too many reviews and want to say this coffee place deserves all the 5 star reviews, if this place drops below 5 stars it's because the customer was probably grumpy. My two friends and I talked to Scott and Shari - the owners - for at least 45 minutes (honestly, it may have been longer, but) we were enjoying ourselves so much talking about coffee and learning so much about the flavours and roasting.
