Making a suggestion for the sarcastic manager or person that was on the phone on 07/06 during the evening time. If you close off the park and order with trash cans at least close off or make signs for the other side so people will not be confused that itâs open on the other side. I normally order drinks only every time I come here and I order through the mobile app since itâs easier for me. Unfortunately, Sunday I ordered 3 drinks and I waited 45 min. I saw they were busy as I did not get upset nor really care but I was confused if they had forgotten when I checked in. Keep in mind it was just 3 simple drinks. I went ahead and drove to the drive thru. I let the girl at the window know that I was waiting for almost an hour and she still insisted on trying to give me 2 slushes and a limeade that have been sitting there for an hour... I asked nicely to have them remade since I would rather not have a slush sitting for almost an hour⌠she remade them and as I received them the blue coconut slush had ZERO color to it and 3% flavoring. The drink was more of water tasting and was almost white colored, after I already drove off.. I went ahead and just called to have someone remake the drink, yet again, and to have someone run it out than being in another long line in the drive thru. I called and got attitude saying âno sorry canât do that. We are short staffed, you need to go back in the drive thru.â I told the woman the picked up the phone âI have been waiting 45 min at the order stand and then another 15 min in the drive thru to get my 3 drinks. The drink is white and tasted like water, no flavoring.â She got sarcastic saying âthe flavoring sits at the bottomâ asking if I stirred it? Which weird why would I need to stir it? So I did and nothing, no color change or flavor change. All the same. And then she also mentions âwell the trash cans should indicate that the order stands are not available to order.â And I told her âdoes the other side count also since there was no signage saying those were closed?â She didnât care at all, or even apologize and hung up on me when I asked for her name. Corporate needs to do something about find people to work at this location because something is lacking so bad here. Especially whomever that person was that answered the phone rudely, she needs to recheck herself on how she handles customers especially ones that were asking nicely and not yelling at her. I used to work a food industry, I know busy and thatâs why I sat there for 45min + 15 min to get my 3 simple drinks. Suggestion: when a customer has something simple that was messed up twice. Apologize, ask is there anything I can do? Would you like for me to remake this and run it out to you or do you want us to get your name down for that next time you arrive we can comp a drink...

We walked up to the car ordering station to place the order and even asked an employee if we could order this way and she said yes no problem. We were right in front of the pick up window and several employees saw us standing there and the screen even said they would be right with us. 10 min later nothingâŚso we walked to the front doors and a very helpful young man said to use the screen in front. So we placed our order and when it came out the drinks were wrong and we had the wrong type of hotdog. Got those 2 issues fixed and walked away. Not knowing the burger was also wrong until I took it back to my wife. So I walked back over and asked for the manager on duty and let her know the issues I had gone through from beginning to end and she said âwell what do you want?â With attitude. I asked for the burger to be corrected. She said âI will fix it but you need to wait outsideâ in a very rude tone. She brings out the burger and I leave. Get back to my wife and hand her the burger and it is still wrong even after I had explained exactly what was supposed to be on it to Nicole the manager. I was too angry to go back so my wife went back over. Nicole the manager said to her âhow many times are you going to come back for the same order to be fixed?â This manager âNicoleâ definitely needs retraining or needs to find another job! We are completely disgusted with her service and attitude. I work for the schools in Bernalillo and believe me I will be letting everyone know about...
   Read moreThis location needs to work on their hiring practices and obviously needs to pay their employees more. This location always seems to be short staffed. It is not uncommon for them to shut down the stalls or the drive through as they never have enough employees working. It is not uncommon to have to wait close to half an hour for your order or longer if it is anything beyond a simple drink. I definitely wouldnât recommend this place if you were on a time crunch or if you had other things to do with your day. If you like sitting around doing nothing wishing you had the sense to order elsewhere then this is the place for you. This is not recent for the past 10 years this sonic has been consistently bad service.
Edit: over one year later, showed up for a drink and a snack after placing an app order only to see that all the stalls were closed and the line wrapping around the building. Asked if they could just cancel and refund my money to which they replied they could not. This place service is absolutely abismal jokes on me for forgetting and giving them...
