They have been my favorite place until yesterday. I’d see other taco trucks but never go as I wanted to give my business too them. I normally would recommend them, but after my experience yesterday, I will never go back and will never recommend them. As I’m walking up to the truck, the wife of the owner leaves the truck, looking angry, and approached me. She tells me, “last time you were here, you were very rude. There were other customers and you passed them by and came up to the window and said, ‘are you ready?’ that will not happen again. I will take anyone’s order before yours.” I was so taken back, and I didn’t know what she was talking about or how to respond to the aggressive tone. She went into the truck, and I very quietly (still confused) told her, “I think you’re mistaking me for someone else.” She responds, still very rude, “No I am not!” I’m still standing there confused. She picks up her pen to take my order and I just look at her (still in shock of what just happened) and say “Um, I’m okay” and walk off. She threw her pen on her pad and let out a huge sigh. I was racking my brain for hours trying to figure what she was talking about. Whenever I go there, if people are standing around I ask if this is the line. I always walk up and say “Hi” in a happy tone. I’m usually excited to get my favorite tacos. The male owner usually says “Hi” back, and we have a small chat. I have always asked if they are ready for my order as I do not want to rush or bombard them with my order, I do this everywhere I go, just trying to be polite. The last time I was there I was ordering for my daughter and myself, there was one other person standing out there to the side, I asked him if this was the line and if he was waiting. He said, yes go ahead. I am not sure were she is getting all this, but I felt very attacked as this is not how I behave. I understand the service industry is a hard job and have always been very nice. I never complain or send my food back, I don’t want to make their job any harder. I feel like her addressing me so harshly was extremely unprofessional. There was a huge misunderstanding and I do not appreciate how she approached me. This could have gone a lot better than it did. It takes a lot to bring me to tears from a random stranger, but this for sure did. This is no one I ever want to give my...
Read moreThe owner is very gracious and friendly. During the season that we visited Sanchez Tacos Food Truck, the owner let us know that he closes a bit early during this season since not much people come after 9:30pm. We got there around that time so the owner told us that he is closed for the night. However, the owner was really nice and served us a plate of the small things he had left. He even rejected us to pay because it wasn't a proper ”dish”. But we were able to at least tip him. So I would make sure to go to Sanchez Tacos Food Truck as soon as it opens, 8pm. Just through the things we were able to taste, it everything was fantastic. The two sauces, green and red, are also really good and pairs well...
Read moreI value honesty, and the individual lied to me.
I specifically asked if they had avocado and cheese not once but twice because my mom could not chew meat. He made solid eye contact and told me, "Yes, the ham torta will come with avocado and cheese."
There was no language barrier. We both communicated in spanish. I was happy that they stuffed my quesadilla with meat, but my quesadilla didn't have any cheese either.
This cost me the inconvenience of my time to go to another reputable restaurant near my house, so my mom was not left out.
This cost this business a customer today who feeds a household of six, so my cost was over $100 with the tip I...
