Jersey Mikes in and of itself is nothing special, decent subs but honestly if you’re already in NJ you could do so much better. BUT I’m giving a five star rating to Jersey Mikes because of their incredible attention to detail and how seriously they take food allergies. I recently found out I have Celiac’s (gluten allergy) and it’s really hard to find quick meals that can accommodate. My kids and I were traveling through on 9/16 around 12:30pm and when I asked for the gluten free bread the person behind the counter asked if it was a preference or an allergy and when I confirmed allergy he then proceeded to clean off the station, change his gloves, and pull out a fresh, clean cutting board to process my order and everyone else who touched my sandwich changed out their gloves as well. I am so impressed with not only Jersey Mike’s training and policies on this, but on the staff members and their implementation of those policies. As ridiculous as it sounds it almost brought tears to my eyes that they took my allergy so seriously because I’m still trying to navigate the intricacies of it myself. I felt valued and it’s great to know that I have somewhere I can definitely go without worrying about whether or not I’ll find a safe meal while traveling. Read moreNot all Jersey Mike’s are the same. Nothing like they show in those TV commercials. I was in the area of this location, stopped in, and ordered my typical # 6. Disappointing. The cheese was sliced so thin you could see through the slice, and put the minimum cheese on the sandwich that they could. The roast beef wasn’t much better. I don’t believe corporate should allow this, as it cheapens the brand, and people think this is how Jersey Mike’s subs are. My local shop does a much better sandwich. Read moreNever had issues with this amazing establishment....but last week I ordered a giant and got a regular....but today today was ubsurd, the man named Dylan that works there was just sitting in the back while his only coworker helped out the other orders....I ordered mine in the phone and they said 10 minutes I show up with nobody in the store and they didn't even make my cheesesteak, so I had to wait another 10 MINUTES!!!!
