Subway is Subway. The food is the same at any location. I enjoy Subway. However, my rating is based on employees. First of all, management really needs to go over FOOD SAFETY with their crew. I had Malak (pretty sure that's the name) unwrap my sandwich bare-handed and rewrap my sandwich barehanded because after it was wrapped the other little worker thought something was wrong and so my sandwich was unwrapped to look at it and rewrapped. I am fairly certain that during the wrapping and unwrapping of my sandwich I seen the bread touched barehanded by this worker. When I addressed what I seen with the worker I was told "no I just touched the wrapper" and the worker wanted to argue that they did not touch my sandwich. I asked for a new sandwich and if that was not possible for my money back. Which brings me to my second issue... They do not have anybody on duty that is able to authorize a refund. In fact, none of the workers knew how to handle my situation. The worker took my sandwich, set it on the counter behind her, and went to the back to ask another worker what to do. After waiting for 5 minutes on them to figure out something the worker comes back out of the back, slowly put gloves on, and proceeds to remake me my sandwich as I see another worker on the phone probably trying to call their manager. When my sandwich was done correctly the worker informed me " unfortunately we cannot give you a refund but if you will accept this sandwich at no extra charge"... of course I'm not going to pay for another sandwich when I didn't even get my first one!!!
My sandwich should have never even been unrolled. And if something was wrong with it the worker wearing gloves should have been the one to address the issue in the first place. And then to argue with a customer who saw your hand touch the bread of their sandwich without gloves is super unprofessional. FOOD SAFETY. Let me reiterate the importance of FOOD SAFETY!!
