La Michoacana Classic — Restaurant in Berwyn

Alright, I love this place. I've been coming to THIS location because it's right around the corner from my house. Ever since opening day I come to this establishment religiously.

Today May 25th 11:12a.m I came in for some nachos and a yogurt. As I waited to be helped, I watched the woman that was about to help me cleaning. She was wearing gloves. I watched her wipe the counter or register. Then she proceeded to mop the floor. Eventually she asked me if I was ready which I said yes. Let me just say after working in the food industry for 25+ years, the NO CHANGING GLOVES is a BIG BIGGG RED FLAG. Makes you wonder what they do behind the scenes as the prep the fruit.

The nachos just required pumping the cheese since the chips are already pre packaged (which now leaves doubt weather they wore clean cloves)

The yogurt was a bit disturbing. As she served the strawberries into the cup I had asked for mango ( the entire spoon meaning the handle) was touching the fruit. She had just finished moping and stuck her dirty glove into the mango to grab the spoon 🤦🏽‍♂️DEAR LORD WHY?! She was very polite and attentive. I will give her customer service 1-5 a top 4. It was the fact she didn't change gloves after handling foods. I requested more cheese on my nachos which then she got cheese on her glove thay probably touched my nachos 🤦🏽‍♂️ she tossed the jalapeño back into the container where the rest were wiiithhh the dirty glove. Call it what you want but it is not acceptable and against food...

Came for some delicious late night snacks with the family and left with a visit to the doctors the next morning. Ordered ice cream, yogurts, and drinks with the family and soon after those ice creams and yogurts really bubbled our stomachs and had everyone throwing up. Parents smelled the ice cream and yogurt cups and didn’t smell so fresh so we notified the store and the staff was respectful except for the older manager lady who was disrespectful and in denial who said she hadn’t had a complaint about her food and that her food is “ perfect” this picture is for her “perfect food”. Didn’t refund and stood there mocking the situation for my family. 100k plus people watch my reviews not to mention on social media and I even screen shot that as well. It is disappointing to see a fan favorite go down the drain! Looked at the reviews with the same issues so it seems like they won’t change. Luckily there are other michoacanas around that offer fresh food and...

Feelin' snacky? This place blew my mind. Everything looked amazing. I ordered the chips+the works with it, including these crunchy soy beans? (minus the pork rinds) and it was crazy good... I even added the corn in there and that was a game changer. There was so much I had to share with a friend. Everything should just be shared!

I also had the mango/tajiin slush and that was AMAZING.. so good since it had real diced mango in there.. and they're are not skimpy about it, portions are huge. But next time I will ask for a small since regular size was enough for a family to share!

I couldn't read the menu bc it's in Spanish but I pointed at pictures on the wall. Also helped that I had a friend who spoke Spanish and helped me order.

There was a lineup but they're all pretty efficient and quick. You know the Mexican place is good when Mexican people love it themselves! Any friends from out of town I WILL BRING HERE for sure, it's a place...
