The Freeze — Restaurant in Berwyn

I've been coming to this place for nearly 50 years the service this year is just unbelievable they need to teach these kids how to make the stuff properly I ordered a $6 freezy today and all I had was Oreos on the top half the bottom half is all vanilla ice cream I've been here probably once a week for the last month the ice cream cones are not getting made properly last week I had a cone and the bottom of the cone had no ice cream and the grooves in the bottom normally you pump the ice cream in for a second fill the cone up nicely and then swirl and they are so thin nowadays normally the ice cream is coming over the edges of the cone nowadays it is barely the width of the cone I think I will be going elsewhere from now on not worth the money to get lousy product looks like I'll just have to start driving the extra 10 minutes to countryside to get my ice cream from now on will try again next year and see if the service...

One of my favorite places to go for ice cream, BUT last night the older lady taking orders was BEYOND rude! I always go for a caramel and hot fudge sundae and first she denies me a small because it's "too much to be on a small sundae", fine i get a medium. I'm given a double chocolate sundae, no caramel. I bring it to the server's attention, who tells the older lady and that lady comes very rude to the window saying that I didn't ask for caramel. Ok, now I'm trying to be very patient, and to not argue I tell her to just add the caramel. guess what? She denies adding caramel again saying it's "too much". I have worked in the fast food restaurant and this is not the way you treat a paying customer. If this service continues it looks like it will be time to look for a new ice...

4-1-21 VERY BAD EXPERIENCE here. We bought 2 medium Hot fudge sundaes that were priced at $4.45 as well as a Freezy priced at $5.59. Total, that should be $14.49 plus tax. The cashier charged us $26...... We brought this up to the other person working there, who agreed with us. But the other worker, (with a condescending bad attitude), says that those were the prices on the register. We recounted the total to her multiple times, but she walked away as we were speaking, unwilling to give us a refund or even listen.
