Jade Garden — Restaurant in Bessemer

I’ll start with the food. Noodles have no flavor taste like dirty dish water. And SWIMMING in oil/fat. Beef ooey gooey chewing salty and bland. Mushrooms were soggy sour and have an after taste of literal armpit. Lettuce tastes like it has been through several freeze and thaw cycles before finally boiling and being drowned in oil. This is by far the worst food I have ever had. And I travel I eat at a lot of hole in the wall restaurants.

The service I watched a woman storm in march up to the counter demand her food by name (the waitress asked for her phone number SEVERAL TIMES) then start rambling out what she ordered until the poor girl could find it all with a smile on her face. Good for the service but at the same time when it came to me she wasn’t communicating anything or saying much skid me a receipt tossed a pen on the counter then came back with my food.

The atmosphere? What atmosphere I guess the first thing I should have noticed was there were 2 other people sitting in the entire restaurant and seeing a 4.5 star review during lunch rush I expected more people. Obviously I should have went next door and gotten a pizza from little ceasures. I began eating here when they were located down the street. I followed them here and the food is STILL FANTASTIC❤️❤️❤️ It’s always fresh and hot every single day. Their fortune cookie is even good… ITS NOT STALE LIKE OTHER PLACES. The service is always excellent even when they are busy…. No need to worry. You never even have to ask for a refill of water, coke or tea… they always keep it full. I order the hot and sour soup… it’s so good. I crave this soup regularly. I absolutely LOVE this place... They are all so very sweet and nice and shows/gives very great respect... My call in orders has always been warm/hot and ready sooo very fresh food... I have never had to wait no longer than 20 mins the longest for my order... And they are always sweet and showing great respect and always makes sure that I have everything and don't need anything or forget anything before I leave from picking up my order...
