Being from New York and loving Bacon egg and cheese I have a specific viewpoint not everyone will agree with. This is a cute little spot in town and they seem to have tons of fresh bagels as the name would have you assume. In CT it seems white American cheese is the norm on a bacon egg and cheese. I am admittedly am not used to that. The egg and roll were really good and you get a good amount of egg and it’s fairly cheesy. My is with the 2 strips of bacon that barely allow me to taste any bacon with all this egg. The biggest issue is that this cost me $7.19 😳 eggs were not that great I mean were these farm fresh eggs like WTF! In comparison for Pete’s sake Deli on Stony hill rd Until like 10am ( Bacon egg and cheese $2.50!) Less egg, a lot of Bacon—- (same white cheese 😒 I’ll admit I’m being a snob) but still very good. And those guys are serving like 50 BEC a minute So I am not trying to trash this location Inam sure they offer plenty of other good items on the menu. I just question the price and amount of bacon

I have been here many times. Bagels are great but outside of a simple bagel and cream cheese it’s expensive for what you get. For instance I got a bottle of water and a bacon egg and cheese for a little over $10 after tax. The sandwich had only one egg two tiny pieces of bacon and an unmelted slice of cheese. Most other breakfast spots around town and neighboring towns will give you two eggs a bunch of bacon and melted cheese some even add a hash brown and it’s still the same price. I also ordered a lox sandwich a couple months ago and was floored by the price and small amounts of ingredients. While I have been there 10-15+ times since moving nearby I’m not sure if I’ll be going back as it’s over priced for what is delivered.

I go to this place often and usually love the bacon egg and cheese but for some reason this time wasn’t ok. I don’t know what to call this mostly break with one piece of bacon and some of an egg and a piece of cheese. Very disappointed.

I hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses. However, I also hate spending $10 for two sandwiches that were really not good. I order a BEC and SEC, both on hard rolls. The hard rolls, I would give 5 stars. The contents of the sandwich I would give 1.5-2 stars, at most. One sandwich had undercooked eggs, not just runny like they should be. The other sandwich had way overcooked eggs, the yolk was beyond cooked. The bacon wasn't even slightly crispy, nor was the sausage cooked as it should be. The cheese wasn't melted on either sandwich. I really wanted to love my sandwich, I'd rather support a small business over a chain, any day. I'm generally a Roccos girl, but they are closed Sundays. Bagel Crossing is open Sundays which would be a huge plus had the sandwiches been good. Their prices are a little high...

Ordered a breakfast sandwich & a peppermill turkey sandwich. Reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the hard roll the turkey sandwich was on was stale. It wasn’t wrapped all the way so I’m not sure if by the time it got to me the bread went stale or it’s just stale bread to begin with. Also the website mentioned red onion on the sandwich which is one of the reasons I purchased it and there was no onions at all. The presentation of the sandwich was perfect but it was ultimately wrong. The breakfast sandwich was cold by the time it got to me which is fine and they could have toasted it to melt the cheese but overall it was a delicious breakfast sandwich. I would probably try them again but they need to be more aware of how they...
