M&N's Pizza — Restaurant in Bethesda

I came here on a Saturday night with some friends - the food, service, and experience were all 5/5 stars for me!

Food:

We ordered 4: Aushak, kadhai paneer, palak paneer, and plain pepperoni

Each one was bursting with its own unique flavor supported by robust sauces and phenomenal quality and taste of meat and paneer.

My personal favorite was the karai paneer, a close second was Aushak. Both I would rate above 9.3/10 on my own personal preference taste scale.

Service:

Manoj (the owner and the “m” of m and n) was just the sweetest taking our order over the phone. He was patient and explained each dish carefully. We asked him for his opinion on which pie to get and he exclaimed “ all of them are delicious, try some flavors now and come back for others later”. He wasn’t exaggerating - these were some of the best “non-traditional” pizza pies I’ve EVER had!

Experience: In store we ordered more pies for family back home. While we waited Manoj got us plates, told us to grab drinks (which we didn’t do), and apologized for the lack of seating. It was still so much fun to hang around and chat. He brought out “N”, naganeen, the chef and I think his wife to come say hi. She had made all the pies!! In the corner they had a plaque of charity work they had both been a part of! We felt as though a family member was serving us, and felt at home.

Manoj was humble and caring, and the pies were delicious. I definitely over ate and will be back to try more pies and say hi to M and...

Delicious whacky and fun pies! Love the Palak Paneer pizza bursting with flavor with rich palak spinach curry sauce, red onions, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and of course paneer. All the ingredients blend well together. Hit the spot! The pizza has a nice chewy crust. One slice isn't enough and grabbed another!

While I enjoyed the Palak Paneer pizza, my hubby preferred the spicy Kadhai Paneer pizza with spicy tangy curry sauce, red onions, green peppers, and paneer. While the ingredients blended well together as well, it was a bit too spicy for me.

A large pizza is more than enough to share. Perfect for a group! We threw in the towel at only 1/2 pie - just too big to conquer for my hubby and I. We needed a 3rd person! I wish the creative pies were offered in individualized portions so you could tackle the pizza on your own with a Small or Medium.

The cool yurt hut building is easy to spot from the road. You can't miss it! I believe it used to be another pizza restaurant back in the day.

As much as I like the pizzas from this place, I have a sincere advice for the owner. Stop taking orders by 8.15pm if your close time is 8.45pm. Update the same thing in the app also so that customer is also aware of your close time. When I placed the order yesterday, the app did not inform me your close time. It’s when I put in your address on google maps that I got a pop up that store has closed. Since I got unexpectedly delayed at a store, I called to check with you if the store has closed and that if I can still come and pick up my order. You said ok. Since I got delayed unexpectedly due to circumstances at another store I could not reach your store on time. More so I was not even aware that your store closes at 8.45pm. Giving me an earful and telling me that you also have a family does not really help your business since I am not a one time customer. I have ordered from you many times even though you offer only pick up. Update your app with timings when customer places the order. Save yourself and the customer the ordeal and...
