Arby's — Restaurant in Bethlehem Township

We did not have a positive experience at this restaurant this evening. After placing an order that totaled $44 and asking for "extra Arby's sauce" we were told that the 7 packets that we were provided were sufficient for the 3 sandwiches and 5 piece chicken tenders. After asking for more we were informed that we would need to pay for additional sauce. Now, this would have been well and good had I not laid out $44 for fast food for 3 people. That's 3 sandwiches, an order of 5 tenders and three fries that totaled $44 and they hassled us over wanting more than 7 packets of condiments. Is their a limit on napkins? What's next, are you going to surcharge me for making ice? Seriously, $44 and you can't give me a handful of packets of extra Arby's sauce. So, you get banished to the "we don't go there" pile like a handful of other fast food eateries in the valley. Don't be cheap. $44 and I can't have sauce. Seriously? Do I have to lay out a cool $100 to get all the sauce I need? Use your brain folks. We don't eat here anymore. No need to tell us to fill out a form online - if a human doesn't want to reach us, don't bother. It's probably a stupid corporate policy that resulted in the unpleasant experience this evening. I have had many good experiences with this Arby's. Like any fast food restaurant there are some items forgotten in the bag from time to time, but for the most part the food and service has been good. The most disappointing experiences so far have been the rude customers barking at the staff for small issues that did not deserve their awful attitudes. I have witnessed more rudeness from customers who feel entitled to having Everything perfect that they forget that they are speaking to another human being. Tonight I was served by Duane, who was very polite and courteous on the speaker. The manager was Renee, who was a good support to her staff and customers. And then Adam was working hard cooking in the back. All of them were on their game and doing their best with the high volume of customers. Thanks guys for doing a good job! Imagine after a long day you order yourself a nice little treat - how about a small chocolate shake??.... You think, "I've got a 25 minute ride home, this will be nice to drink on the ride home."

You get the shake, you're looking forward to drinking it, you start driving and begin to unwrap the straw and then realize it's a paper straw. NOOOOOOO. Have you ever tried drinking a chocolate shake through a paper straw?? I bet you the manager of Arby's and the co-workers haven't because if they have, they wouldn't be giving out paper straws.

Honestly it became sort of comically trying to drink this shake through a piece of paper but needless to say I had to wait until I was home to enjoy it. I care about our environment but let's find a different way instead of using...
