Outstanding Indian Cuisine at BIBI'S TIFFIN - Trexlertown, PA

Our family recently celebrated my birthday dining at BIBI'S TIFFIN in Trexlertown, PA, and we can unanimously say this restaurant exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in until we left completely satisfied, every aspect of our experience was exceptional.

The Food - Simply Spectacular

The flavors at BIBI'S TIFFIN are nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic taste and perfectly executed:

Railway Lamb Curry - This standout dish was tender, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. The spices were beautifully balanced, creating a rich and memorable flavor profile that transported us straight to the railways of India.

Kadai Chicken - Absolutely delicious with its robust tomato-based sauce and perfectly cooked chicken. The blend of bell peppers and onions added wonderful texture and freshness to the dish.

Palak Paneer - Creamy, flavorful, and comforting. The spinach was perfectly prepared and the paneer was fresh and soft, making this a vegetarian delight.

Fish Amritsari - Crispy on the outside, flaky and tender inside. The fish was expertly seasoned and fried to golden perfection.

Garlic Naan - Warm, buttery, and loaded with aromatic garlic. It was the perfect accompaniment to soak up all those incredible sauces.

Exceptional Service

Special recognition must go to Kamal, who provided extraordinary service throughout our meal. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and genuine hospitality made our dining experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find such dedicated and professional service.

Final Verdict

BIBI'S TIFFIN has earned a permanent spot on our family's list of favorite restaurants. The combination of authentic, flavorful cuisine and outstanding service makes this a must-visit destination for anyone seeking genuine Indian flavors in the Trexlertown area.

Highly recommend - we'll definitely be returning soon to explore more...

I was very excited to try this new Indian place but was very underwhelmed. I called at 6:15 to place an order for pick up and they said it wouldn't be ready until 7:15-7:30.

I show up at 7:15 and there are 4 people waiting there, all of them frustrated with how long it is taking. Finally, at about 7:35 I get my food. They apologize and explain that they are understaffed and very busy. They throw in some free sweets which was a nice gesture that I was appreciative of.

I was still excited to eat the food!

When I get home and open my food, they only gave one container of rice for 3 chicken tikka masala orders which is not typical. The amount of chicken in the serving was way too small for the price. The sauce was not what you typically look for in a curry sauce and was severely under-salted. Naan was overcooked and too crispy in parts of it but I still mostly enjoyed the naan. The samosas however, were very good! On top of all of this, the free sweets that we got were just balls of dough in some type of simple syrup that felt like mush in your mouth. Not good!

This poor experience may be due to them being overwhelmed and understaffed in that moment, however, it was bad enough for me to feel compelled to leave...

We regularly order from Bibi’s Tiffin or dine in to enjoy their food, so when we were planning a party of 30–40 guests, we figured we could bring that same quality to a catered event—and they absolutely delivered. They prepared an incredible spread including Palak Chaat, Samosa Chaat, Bhel Puri, Paneer Sliders, Avocado Lychee Ceviche for lunch, and a tray of Biryani with Raita for dinner.

The presentation was outstanding—bite-sized portions made it easy for everyone to enjoy each dish without feeling too full. The live station setup in our backyard was both elegant and efficient, with setup taking only 10–15 minutes. They kept everything warm, flavorful, and beautifully displayed throughout the event.

On top of the delicious food, their hospitality and professionalism were unmatched. The team was easy to communicate with, flexible with adjusting spice levels to our preferences, and extremely attentive. They even provided tableware, utensils, and stylish serving ware for the appetizers, which really elevated the experience.

Overall, I would 100% recommend Bibi’s Tiffin to anyone planning a house party or special gathering. Their food, service, and live station presentation made our event...

First time trying Bibi's Tiffin, as our usual go to Indian restaurant in the area had disappointed us the past couple orders, and we wanted to try somewhere new. So glad we did! Despite our initial order attempt not going so well- we were delivered the wrong order through Uber eats- everything ended up great. We had contacted Bibi's immediately in case our order was still sitting there. But it was not. We reordered and decided to pick up ourselves instead. The inside space was busy and the women working the orders and counter were very kind, and I received an apology about our initial order (more than what we received when we notified our uber eats driver). I totally understand they were bust and sometimes mistakes happen. We were given a few extra golgappa bombs in our order 😁. I haven't seen these bombs on a menu. But first had them at an Indian wedding I attended and became obsessed. Highly recommend them! We also ordered samosas, butter chicken and goat curry. Everything was delicious. We are very pleased with Bibi's!

What a great restaurant! We are putting it on our list of favorites. We love Indian food and tried all of them in the area but never had anything like this. We learned a lot about Indian street food and the way it is prepared. My favorite cold chaat was Golgappa bombs. It was just bursting in flavors. The most unusual was one of the house specials called Sarson Ka Saag with Makki Roti made from a viraety of dark green leafy vegetables. The grand finale was the dessert called Rasmalai which has a sponge like consistency and an unique sweet taste complimented with very tasty Madras coffee. The menu is huge. We will be back to taste some more.
