Anmol Restaurant — Restaurant in Beverly

Food was good but the service was horrible.!!

The waiter and staff were very inattentive/ careless we came to the restuarant with a party of 8 for my girlfriends little brothers 16 year old birthday dinner on a Monday night. We already had reservations made obviously.

The 8 of us were the only ones in the entire dinning room. We made sure we called ahead and asked if it's fine for us to bring in a birthday cake at arrival to which they said it was. My girlfriend and I arrived 5 minutes before everyone else to provide them with the cake and candles so we could surprise the birthday boy with it later.

Once the entire group arrived we were told to go into the dinning room and kinda just had to guess which table was reserved for us due to no one showing us to our table.

When placing the order the waiter only cared for our main course and did not bother asking if we would wanted drinks or appetizers to which we requested ourselves.

When the orders were being put out he forgot who ordered what.

During our dinner we were not checked on if the food was to our satisfaction or if anyone needed more water etc...

After we ate my girlfriend got up and spoke to the waiter if he could prep and bring out the cake

Shortly after the waiter brings out the cake in the Spinelli's bag we originally brought it in! And did not bother taking it out the bag, box or placing the candles we provided or lighting them at that.

My girlfriend proceeded to take the cake back in the bag and set it up herself and brought it out herself.

Throughout this entire incident the waiter and rest of staff seemed disinterested and just plain rude. And when I tried to tell the waiter that a little more effort during the birthday dinner would of been appreciated he literally just gave blank stare and continued on with...

Last Saturday, my boyfriend and I stopped in for karaoke and a couple of drinks. We don't drink alcohol, so we ordered diet sodas. The night was enjoyable. This past Saturday we returned for more karaoke and drinks. This time the bartender (same as last week, as she's apparently the only person staffing the bar area of the restaurant), confronts us and tell us, quite directly, "You stink!" Not a typo, she said "you stink", as in, you give off an offensive odor. She proceeded to explain that people complained last week that we smell. We responded, "What do you mean?" She explained that we stunk last week, and in fact, we stink currently and that she's going to have to ask us to leave. Needless to say, we didn't and don't stink. I can't believe I feel the need to type this....we showered last Saturday and this past Saturday, and we were wearing clean clothes. Clearly no further discussion was needed at this point. We picked up our things and walked out, she smiled. It seems she did not want to serve two people drinking soft drinks (although both nights the place had a handful of people, at most, so spacing was not an issue). She was rude, mean, and had no class. Did you ever wonder what happened to that bully in your Social Studies class from 5th grade? She's working at Anmol in Beverly, MA....will never go back there again, neither will our family and friends who live up the street in Beverly and in Danvers and Salem. Shame on you bully for not developing past the 5th grade! And, shame on you Anmol for not caring enough to teach your servers to respect your...

Not one to leave reviews but the experience with this restaurant and particular staff was atrocious.

It takes one experience to end a relationship with a customer. I will never ever return to Anmol! Although food alright its not worth the experience.

I ordered a Naan with a few other dishes and upon return to my home I found a plastic white glove attached to it. Disgusting...someone's sweaty glove on the Naan! Like c'mon...how could you miss that!?!?!.

Called and spoke to someone who passed me off and stated they don't use latex plastic gloves. I said so if I drove back 30 min to check the kitchen? There wouldn't be gloves at all?

He said no and backtracked as that would be a violation. Then I asked for a manager and he began using his 16 years at the company as an excuse that this never happens.

Instead of just apologizing and taking the responsibility for the mistake his arrogance lost a customer.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Oh and on top of it he told me to never come again after telling me ive only been there 6 times...try like 56...I've lived and have numerous friends that frequent this establishment. Thanks but no...
